I am SO EXCITED for this drama!!!! I just KNEW i had to watch it when I saw the trailer the other day! And I kind of like how the male lead is the cold foodie and the female lead is the playful cook -- I feel like usually the female is the playful foodie and that's kind of cliched.
i watched the trailer and yeah. i didn't watch the drama. the fantasy and costumes were really not it. guzhuang/realistic…
Same here - I watched the trailer and immediately decided that I would NOT watch it. In the end, I just ended up watching the last 20 min of the drama and I felt like it was enough.
Ep 1 of Chef Hua now subbed here: https://productiveprocrastination.site/
I ended up watching the rest of the drama RAW because I really wanted to know what happened--I just tried to use my context clues to figure out what was happening but I'm planning to rewatch as subs come out. :)
I don't get the ending and what happened to Kou's character? I mean does his family give up on him in the end?
Yeah I really didn't like how they ended it -- like Kou was still alive and they decided to transplant his heart from his alive (but comatose) body into Takuma's. That just doesn't sit right with me personally. And there's no confirmation if Takuma's alive either.
I've been watching this too but watching it lightheartedly -- because the stalker-ish part of it would be too much to handle if I didn't otherwise. But I really like the strength of the female lead! Also, I really like the opening song :)
I really enjoyed the drama! The female lead was annoying at times but I think the drama kept me pretty captivated. And--not going to lie-- Bai Yu was worth watching this drama for

(Spoilers are welcome)
edit) or maybe Seungsik and Chan combined?
