No the rule is old.. but u must have seen in Blossom drama they didnt explicitly show the time travel instead they made it into a dream seen by the FL. These days a lot of dramas are going around the loophole by making it into a dream or novel (like story of kunning palace).

Actually i was talking about how these things happened in the novel.. in the drama they changed a lot of things and characters as they cant really show the whole rebirth sequence as it is banned... By the throat slicing movement, he probably just means to get rid of her by any means.. i guess they r going to blind, stab her and throw in water for the whole rebirth thing
