Basically in this scene, Gao ming (having researched a bit about how SWL hates omegas and won't want this child) demands 10 million from SWL to make GT abort the baby. SWL probably misunderstands thinking GT wants that and then GT runs away without explaining anything and goes into hiding... After this SWL comes to GT's house but he is under Mate seeking syndrome and has to be tranquilized by HY and so he's unable to meet GT who leaves for another country... (this is what I"ve seen from the leaked subs) Then 3 yrs skip...
There were some other things in the novel too.. like in the novel SWL found out from GT's father that GT is an omega during this meeting... and then later he calls HY who confirms that GT was the omega he slept with(unlike how he already knows from ep 15 in the drama). In the novel, GT's condition becomes really critical after this meeting and is hospitalized and is barely able to be stabilized with the help of his alpha friend Ma Heng(but we probably wont get his character here) and after SWL goes into mate seeking syndrome, he's caught by his alpha father Shen Yu and beaten up and imprisoned until his supposed dead omega father Ying Yi rescues him... Bcz of all this in the novel, u can say SWL n GT missed every opportunity for patch up..
