I have been reading the comments and many people still doesn't understand the ending!!....
I think many people doesn't understand the ending... In Hye & Tae San will be together after sometime with their Soo jin... After sometime she will realize her feelings for Tae san and they will be together..
I am 100% sure Detective had clearly breakup with In hye... He clearly knows In hye has feelings for Tae san after knowing everything.. Detective Clearly said these lines " I don't want to get in b/w Tae san, in hye and soo jin feelings for each other.. There is no point of being with a her, she had feelings for Tae San and Detective knows he will be a 4 th person who came in b/w them...Detective clearly knows Soo jin loves her dad soo much... So i am so sure Detective is not going to comeback... He said he is going to travel may be he will never comeback...
Why Open Ending... At that time she was not clear about her feelings Detective even knows that so he just let her go... So after some time Tae San will comeback after getting a job and everything.. So she realize her feelings for him and eagerly waiting for him and they will be happily ever after...
