You can't judge it only by the first ep,, in short, LBFAD presents a simple forbidden love story with all old tropes but the script is very well written & well connected. Every character development is well written & worth watching, no forced match making, those with one sided love remain single, no bitchy character like ye bingchan at least, that kiss in 1st ep isn't forced, rather played an important role for the whole story lmao
While TTEOTM has a complicated story, ml is more dark, fl is mature to start with, more characters, more things taking place , tbh it's more of my type drama but I also love LBFAD due to the well written script & good acting
Both dramas have good cgi, ost & special effects,, both are likeable

Can't say actually but in most cases, DFQC is indeed the strongest with his hellfire & intelligence,, for Orchid, I would say she has rare power, not combative. She can bring death back to life & even saved DFQC from evil spirit,, in a conclusion, I would say DFQC is stronger

ML has hellfire which showcases his destructive side while FL has green energy which gives life to anything, even brings back dead. That's why, she could influence DFQC'S ruthless personality

Lol, it's gonna be 2 years but still some question about Reba's selection for Changge. Well indeed Reba has a strong aura & mature look, taller than many actresses & her age is a mismatch for Changge's age, but Changge's character in the manhua is quite mature, not cute, calm, witty, naive & funny in cases, different from many FLs. So, I think Reba's matched Channge pretty well despite the difference in their age & personality,, Reba acted very well as Changge,, both her immaturity in the beginning & maturity later

Manhua Changge had less flaws though,, drama added a lot of things, messed up in some parts, I know

Well, DFQC'S age is 30,000+ while Orchid is only 1500 years old+ her real identity is hidden,, so shouldn't she have a baby voice??

Esther portrayed Orchid's maturity through her voice & acting,, her voice indeed matures a lot by the end,, in different parts, she played a total of 4/5 roles just by changing her voice & body language. She did a great job indeed.

Her natural voice is thin, you can't help it. She sang amnesia OST of this drama, how beautiful her singing voice is!! I also don't prefer childish voice much but her voice was suitable for Orchid's nature & immaturity. Her temper was perfect for DFQC'S temper.
So, you can just put up with her voice & enjoy this show.. 😅,, I also got used to her voice

I read the novel too,, novel DFQC was too too cruel & his growth & retribution later wasn't written well,, I didn't warm up to him much while cried for Orchid a lot.. the drama DFQC & Orchid 's characters were written very well,, almost perfect growth!! The only thing I didn't like is hellfire's vanishing.. wanted to watch DFQC's baddassery more by the end lol,, also another fight should have been there

First her hidden power shows up in EP 25/26 when she saved injured DFQC from taisui,, then last ep,, don't wanna spoiler much

SHK nailed her role proving her worth as an actress!! I just love these types of stories,, can't wait for the second season!! The ML & second ML are also fabulous!!!

I love their chemistry a lot and i agree that deep inside their core, both are same actually...,, the strongest action packed couple( indeed a great enemy to lover trope)... btw u should keep ur comment under spoiler

she uses her own voice in modern drama like you are my glory, love designer,lihuizhen or diamond lover,,,, reba's line delivery is very good,, she can even mimic but unfortunately she uses dub for costume drama maybe because the process is bigger than modern dramas
in prosecution elite, her voice is real

yeah,, it's a bit off... youku is really stingy but def there will be a better trailer closer to the air
