Is there any particular reason why this Drama doesn't have a "Smart Female Lead" tag?Is this like a "Nothing…
I don’t know why the tag isn’t here but the FL is incredibly smart, and is one of the smartest FLs I’ve watched. I’d definitely recommend you watch it and see if you like it
I thought it would be unique and different because of the VR element, but nope. It's the same classic rich CEO with a traumatic family/background that meets the poorer girl going through a rough time in her life and esseentially comes to save her. Typical office romance. Nothing unique here.
I'm not saying it's a bad drama but I really don't understand why it's rated so highly. It's visually beautiful and has beautiful people, but we've seen the same story time and time again.
I will give it points for the romance and kinship, but that's the only aspect of the show I really liked. I'm really not trying to be a hater but this is just another example of me seeing that peoples expectations for shows really is in the gutter.
I'm actually glad someone else has rated it as low as me, and thought the exact same things. I fully started to think I was being gaslit by the comments because I just dont understand why the show is rated so highly by others
This is going to be controversial, but I've really given this show a chance and I dont understand why its rated…
To me, this is just another example of questionable ratings on MDL. I really just dont understand why the show is rated so highly and is so popular. I genuinely cant wrap my head around it. I'm guessing maybe its because of the cast and that its visually appealing.
Im in ep 11 rn, i like the plot, the chemistry between the leads is pretty good too, but i fear there's not gonna…
In my opinion, this might not be the show to watch if you're looking for great romance. The romance to me seems somewhat childish, but some people like that I guess since the show is rated so highly
This is going to be controversial, but I've really given this show a chance and I dont understand why its rated so highly and so popular, aside from the fact that the show overall looks visually good and has a pretty cast. Especially for being a romance show, it is really lacking in that department. The romance is so lackluster. I'm at the part where the leads are supposed to be together, but they just seem like really good friends. They have chemistry, but I dont feel the romance. I'm not expecting them to kiss every 5 minutes but they haven't even kissed. It just seems like a romance that's made for kids imo. I have a love-hate relationship (it's obviously not that serious) with any show Esther Yu is in because she always plays the same kind of FML. While her character here felt mature some times, she would also soo childish too to the point that it was getting ridiculous. One thing I will give this show a point for, is that the plot is somewhat engaging. And I think that might be why people like it so much. Otherwise I really dont think the show should be rated this highly.
Love the relationship between the leads and loving the show so far. But im near the end at episode 26 and I just wonder isn't it a bit lonely for the FL to be by herself while pregnant and giving birth. I understand the nature of MLs job but it just seems soo lonely to me, especially at a time when you really need to be with your partner. I know it's just a show and I'm obviously just overthinking but it would have been nice for them to discuss this as well. She's essentially just going to be a single mother.
I honestly got used to the step-sibling plot, but the main problem for me is the dad. He is an angry man-child…
Sorry for the rant but can we also talk about how terrible the FL's office is. It's such a toxic place to work. I would have left the company a long time ago
I honestly got used to the step-sibling plot, but the main problem for me is the dad. He is an angry man-child and is honestly just abusive. He slapped his daughter. I cant believe that no one is calling him out for his behaviour and just letting him get away with it. I understand that culture plays a big role into his character but it got to a point that it was just too much.
Also FL is a grown ass 32 year old and needs to start acting like it with her family. She is the only one in the family that works and pays their bills, why is her dad controlling her like this. I understand culture but it's too much. Her living at home with her family is not my problem, its just how much control her dad has over her life and how he treats her like a child yet keeps telling her to go and marry that a**hole of an ex
Something I dont understand is how strange her sister is. Like we didn't even know she had a sister until nearly the end of the show. And why is she much more closer to her cousins than her blood sister. And no one is even mentioning it, im so confused lol
Another thing that worries me a lot is how unprofessional the office is. Like all they do is gossip and be openly…
Honestly a lot of modern office cdramas are like this but there are a few good ones. My fav office dramas are You are my secret, Here we meet again, The love you give me, and Why women love. The first frost and The Best thing are not office dramas but they are both recent ones that are soo good, and I are great starting points.
