Kind of noticed an inconsistency between seasons 1 and 2. Idk if I am getting it wrong but when the evil spirit killed their counter in ep 1 of season 1 he didn’t absorb the counter’s power and he was a level 3 or am I getting it wrong? Someone please explain if I am.

Calm down it’s fiction. It doesn’t have to be historically accurate. The historical accuracy has very little to do with the purpose of the plot. If you are offended by it I kindly suggest you stop watching.
