I gave a thought to my own question…and damn, I can’t imagine anyone else being CWN and MR. I remembered even when reading the novel, I already pictures these two in my mind.
I wonder any of you read the novel before any news of the drama adaptation? What kind of CWN and MR in your mind at that time…

In your imaginary world, where LYX and CFY don't exist...who would be your 2nd choice to be CWN and MR? Just curious...

For me, the most painful thing of the drama is not the relationship of Runyu and the FL but Runyu and his brother (DengLun). It was so sad to see them growing apart, because they were such good brothers for each other. Basically, the chemistry between them three: Runyu and FL and ML, is super super strong that you almost hope they three can live together in harmony 😂

Well, AoL was made in 2018 or even earlier. You could even still see LYX’ pores on screen 😂 (I am always amazed how the editing in c drama is so heavy that everyone has porcelain skin without any pores at all). If you are used to great editing and CGI from dramas coming 2020 onwards, you might be annoyed 🙂
But that aside, the storyline is great…and sad 😞

And TU is the 2nd drama that I watched 2x. First is AoL 😂. And considering both dramas have >50 eps, you can see my dedication 😂 because I don’t normally watch drama 2x. But both AoL and TU for me were quite complicated, plus at that time I wasn’t used to c drama style yet. So, I found it hard to follow the story, plus I literally didn’t know any actors/actresses, so I was struggling to remember faces and names.

Yes, but that’s always the case. When someone use A to degrade B, the B defenders will naturally look for A’s flaws to defend B. These kind of fans are very easy to be triggered. You can drop a comment saying for example ‘whoa, LYX is so great, CFY is bad etc etc’ then the fans who fall into this trap will start saying ‘CFY is great, LYX is bad etc etc’. And it turned out, the person who threw that first comment was actually a hater for both LYX and CFY. That’s exactly how antis work.

Oh, I was the other way around. I didn’t like XZ at first, and I thought he was soo skinny. But I ended up liking him more than WYB 😂. Yeah, I would say they are hardcore fans, OR…they could be just some antis or haters for BL and try to create war by sending off 1-2 comments to trigger people.
Like for example, if one random person put a comment here saying LYX is bad etc and then say CFY is the best etc…this can also trigger war within HYX itself when people start to defend LYX, they start to find ways to degrade CFY. And it applies the other way around. I believe this was also the way used by antis when they created war between XZ and WYB fans last time.

I believe almost all who are here are also TU fans as well 😂. TU will never be forgotten, I see TU as a door opener, the one getting more people to find out about BL adaptation and become fans of other BL adaptation. This is what happened when you are too invested in a show that you forget the main purpose of it: entertainment. So, they feel insecure and want the show to be always on top, nothing else should beat it.

I don’t know such things exist 😂. In my peaceful understanding, I believe all the BLs fans stand for each other, because right now this kind of thing is minority and gets a lot of attacks. One makes it out peacefully, will create more opportunities for the others. It’s possible they are more like certain actor/actress’ fans, because I have seen crazy and defensive fans like this.
