Hi. I'm sorry if this question sounds stupid or ignorant. I just want to ask, why is it that certain BL drama…
So, in my opinion, there are some people who are against BL and try to eliminate BL once and for all. One of the ways they do that is by creating dispute between fans. For example, in the Untamed, they tried to create dispute between WYB fans and XZ fans so they stopped shipping them together. Another way is by creating dispute between BL dramas fans, for example this one: WoH fans vs HYX fans. Taking advantage of what happened to ZZH (and very possible even ZZH issue was brought by them), they spread issue that it was tencentâs doing in order to take down WoH, so tencent can air Immortality. So, some WoH fans might believe this and think Immortality caused all this. But this truly doesnât make sense for so many logical reasons.
1. WoH aired long time ago. And taking down WoH wonât really impact Hyx, itâs not like they are airing at exactly the same time and competing for viewers. 2. The whole issue actually made it even more tricky for Tencent to air immortality, while this is their biggest budget project which I think they want to reap the profit asap. 3. ZZH photo was from long time ago. I mean, if I were from tencent and I had bad intention, I would create this issue when WoH was airing and made it taken down even in the middle of airing so fans wonât even be able to see it then. The way I see it, it is the anti BL people who heard the rumor of hyx airing Aug 20, and used this to create this mess so in the end Tencent wonât be able to air hyx. I initially thought nobody would fall for this trap, because normally those who like WoH will like other BL adaptations too; we should be standing for each other, supporting each other rather than fall into this trap leading to chaotic war between fans which might lead authority to ban BL forever.

Today has been such a fun rollercoaster ride!! I was a bit disappointed although I didnât even start with any expectation đ, but most importantlyâŠI really enjoyed the circus today đ
