Most actors in hyx are not huge actors yet except LYX. But LYX is not idol type, he is more like a pure actor and we have never heard any crazy fans cases with him, so it should be safe.

Argh…waiting for hyx is a cruel torture…but looking at this, I think the real pain and heartbreak are actually when we finally get to see the drama 😞

Me too, after 20 episodes or so, I no longer hate those supporting roles. But one person who still hasn’t calmed down my hatred is zhuzhu. Like I have no idea what her role or function in the overall drama is…
While for the guy who keeps chasing moli by being her student, I didn’t even spend any >2 seconds to see him, I fast forward everytime he appeared…

I read somewhere yesterday that they will re-cast and re-film the male parts…but not official though…

Same logic, many oscar winning movies are not always the most favorite. Sometimes it is even deemed to be boring and complicated to be understood. It is just what’s fitting into society. The c drama community is full with people hoping to see romantic couple, romantic scenes, knights in shining armor kinda stuffs…perfect FL or perfect ML who doesn’t have any flaw in their lives…and I too am watching such dramas for entertaining my eyes looking at beauties. But from storyline perspective, Broker is a gem!

Well, most people are already used to cliche storyline…and people like the feeling of inferior FL being paired to superior ML. They like the satisfying moment when inferior FL being bullied and looked down and then being defended by idolized ML. Or vice versa. I mean even for me, at first, it bothered me how ML here seems to be so inferior. He is just a ‘staff’, not rich nor powerful, not super genius and the best among other men, and it was killing me watching first few episodes when FL was bullied and he couldn’t do anything. Typical c drama would have a super rich or powerful ML to stand for FL at this point. Or another typical c drama would have a superior ML also bullies FL at first but then slowly develop feeling for FL and then becomes her guardian. Now that I think about it, how did I buy all these stupid typical romance which repeat and repeat itself over and over again. So, Broker is seriously something new for me, not used to it but eventually made me realize ‘hey, this is what a good story is!’

Oh and I am optimistic the coming episodes will rock, the tension has been built up and more actions are going to be shown.

One thing I learnt, which I am not 100% sure if it is right. You can rate each episode, and then update your watch status as per the episodes you have watched. For example, if you rate ep 1-20 but your watch status is only up to episode 5 because u didn’t update it, then your rating for ep 6-20 don’t seem to be considered. So, I routinely update how many episodes I have watched then rate each episode as I watch.
