I think L&P was alright. ML is cool and cute to watch. Leads chemistry is not bad but nothing exciting either.…
Oh wait, so FL will show 'no backbone' attitude consistently towards the end? I only watched a few episodes, and I kept wondering when the FL would slapped the ML...haha
Honestly, I really like you take on things. It's so refreshing. Whatever you say here makes sense...the ending…
I takes some time to digest...I guess that is the power of this drama...I mean, it has been weeks after the ending, and slowly we digested and then we realized new things and new insights...
For this, I really think the best outcome for TTJ is death. I mean, come on, his whole life is misery. He almost…
No, don't get it wrong. There are some xianxia that use resurrection well, or the regaining power or the rebirth in mortal realm...they usually put those aspects at the beginning or in the middle of the dramas with good hints of how they worked etc... But there are a lot of xianxia that use that brainlessly...like suddenly solve the whole misery with happy ending which doesn't make sense...and I hate those... And again, whether it is nice or not, this is my personal opinion. Of course I am aware one thing can be nice for me, but not nice for others and vice versa...
Ok guys, I had this lingering question/doubt/dissatisfaction regarding the ending initially and some angel brought…
I initially wondered if the world got to understand that TTJ was not evil...because unlike typical xianxia, there was no scene showing how regretful the sect people or those who wronged TTJ after realizing TTJ actually sacrificed himself for the world...and here is the explanation:
Ok guys, I had this lingering question/doubt/dissatisfaction regarding the ending initially and some angel brought some light to my doubt and I now fully understood that part...I am going to copy it here, in case you missed this conversation.
Deus ex machina is the worst to end a story. I am happy this drama didn't fall for this cheap and easy way out…
Oh damn, thank you SO MUCH!!! You kinda opened my mind on certain aspects I had doubt on before!!! And yes, after reading this explanation, everything makes so much sense...and make me appreciate this ending even MORE!!!! THANKS!!!!

Exactly. The only thing I am disappointed about is the fact that there is no scene to clear the misunderstanding the world had for TTJ...like people from his sect never know that he didn't kill his master etc. But then, come to think about it...I don't expect some kind of hidden spell which works like a CCTV which out of nowhere showed the truth to the people...that is...so typical xianxia...
Again, I want to write to show my appreciation to the ending.I really feel this is the most acceptable ending…
For this, I really think the best outcome for TTJ is death. I mean, come on, his whole life is misery. He almost never had a break, the ending when he begged LSS to end it for him because his life had been all horrible...that speaks so deep to me. Imagine after doing all he did, and then suddenly LSS said "oh, now I am true god, I can stop the calamity without killing you"...that will be anti climax, because the whole last 3 episodes explaining to us how to stop the calamity and suddenly on last episode, there is a miracle?? Or if she chose TTJ and they died together....that sucks for TTJ knowing he loves LSS so much. Or if she couldn't kill TTJ and instead TTJ was killed by another...I won't accept anyone to kill TTJ but LSS!
And I am so sick of how xianxia always solve all the miseries by 'reincarnation in mortal realm'...
Again, I want to write to show my appreciation to the ending.
I really feel this is the most acceptable ending for me. I tried to think of many different possible endings, but I realized this ending is the one I like the most. I mean, how many of you have watched c drama (especially xianxia) which has showed how horrible the situation between the leads was...like they spend 98% of the episodes showing us misery and tragedy nonstop, creating super complicated problems, like really it seemed impossible to solve? But then they used the remaining 2% to miraculously invented a solution to all miseries and suddenly our leads lived happily ever after? And just because we are happy to see our leads together we ignored the ridiculous miracles that suddenly saved our lead from death, or random reincarnation in mortal realm, or how suddenly a super god appeared and resolved all misunderstanding, or how a super villain suddenly repent and be good, or how suddenly a weak lead became super powerful and beat all the villain, or how suddenly there was a secret book or recipe to cure disease, or whatever bullshit just to make it happy ending?
