But honestly, with other xianxia, the amount they wasted on 2nd and 3rd couples are worse...so, I would say TTEOTM did very minimal on 2nd and 3rd, so I would tolerate this...

I am kinda used to it. I mean, almost in most xian xia I watched...the most annoying characters must be from immortal realm...some even have the heaven emperor/empress as main villain. So, when we have this immortal arc...I was so worried that something like this will happen...and well, it looks like it did...

I would say, for people who don't get used to xianxia, this drama is very difficult to understand. I mean, I do watch a couple of xianxia, but I am no expert, haha, so, still struggling. Plus, there are a few scenes where the subs are super fast!!
