I am currently re-watching it and I'm still crying even though I know what's going to happen. I love the angst…
Btw, do you think the 2nd brother, Li Cheng Ye, (the previous crown prince who rebelled and tried to take the throne by force) is gay? He seemed very attached to his buddy Li Yan, and I kinda feel a few hidden hints of bromance :)
I am not really updated on c-ent. But, just curious, do you guys know if there is any new BL adaptation being filmed or going to be filmed? I am just concerned. I know in the past we said 'Hey, TGCF filming is on-going! So, if BL adaptation is banned, why are they still filming?' But now that it finished filming, I am not aware of any new BL adaptation announced. And this makes me concerned.
I hv put Goodbye My Princess on hold for too long, I need to restart from the beginning if you say it is a masterpiece....
It is a masterpiece. I realized, historical drama really needs to be long. The whole 50s episodes really showed you the whole development, made you immersed and attached to the background, to the character etc. No wonder why recent historical dramas had less impact on me, I guess it was really because of censorship and the less episodes...a lot of development parts were missing.

I know! I really love XiaoFeng character, she is such a charm! I mean, she made people around her loved her so much that they were willing to sacrifice (Ms Yong omg!) Not just angst, but the whole comedic scenes were so entertaining!
You are a brave soul lol i cant re watch goodbye my princess or Scarlet Heart....with those dramas...once is enough…
I have been missing such show you know. And recently, no such show anywhere! Actually, watching it twice made me realized some parts which I didn't get before. And made me appreciated this drama even more! I just realized it is so wholesome, the whole process, the whole details...amazing!

Well, the power of saying "I am from China". So what if you are from China? That means this person knows exactly hyx won't air? My principle stays the same, not gonna take anything unofficial!

And I am surprised you took that tweet so seriously. Do you know that person? Like, how did you listen to that person so obediently? I mean, anybody could say they were from China and they thought hyx wouldn't air...but that doesn't mean it is fact. I bet most Chinese citizens wouldn't know it for sure...
How are the clowns here? I just re-watched Goodbye My Princess and it is such a masterpiece. I really miss such massive angsty and heart-crunching show...which I think only can be matched with HYX :( Please, give me HYX soon...
I just re-watched this last week, and oh man, this is truly a masterpiece! It is so wholesome, it has the romance, the politics, the past-presence charm, and the view (YES, the view especially during the time they were in Xi province, such a breathtaking landscape!). I liked it first time I watched long time ago, but now watching it the second time, I understand it better and appreciate it even more. The whole character development is excellent, and every move, every scene, every part...just fit in and makes sense in the end! I miss such tear-jerker show! Nothing similar ever comes lately. And I am convinced that for such drama, really c-drama cannot be cut into less than 30 episodes without losing its wholesomeness!
