I totally agree...I expect this to be professional work since this is published by a professional company. Well, I will hold to the optimism that now since the translation work is a paid job, it should be delivered better. I mean Rynn was kind enough to do the translation for free for us, and I know Meatbun's works are not the easy ones. And I guess she tried her best to present the story, at least to make us all understand overall plots. Well, I do want to purchase for collection. But main reason is to re-read the professional translation version. But the thing is, since I don't read the original version and don't understand Chinese that well, I will never be able to tell if the published one is accurate or not. Will you keep us updated later once you get the book? About how accurate it is...?

Oh wow, hey, thanks for writing this, it took a lot of effort for you to explain. Now that you explained it this way, then yeah, I do somehow agree with you then. I don't know if the vol 1 will be exactly the current translated version of Rynn or they will fix it and make it more accurate... But the whole announcement did sound rush, and suddenly vol 1 will be ready in a few months. If the original writings are not that accurately translated (from some examples you mentioned, I suspected there are a lot more?), then I now hesitated to pre-order... I know Chinese is a beautiful language, and one of the reasons why I started to learn Chinese is to be able to read Chinese literature in its real meaning (although I know it will take me more than 10yrs for this, or even my whole life). So, yeah, I do want a professional translation if I am to spend money to buy the book, I want a translation as accurate as possible. But I guess we, the non native speakers, all love and appreciate Rynn so much, because she has made it possible for us to enjoy such a beautiful novel. And I have read some other translated danmeis, and Rynn for me has done pretty much excellent job... So, I hope she was not lack the capability when she translated earlier...and now with the book, hope she would make it more accurate...
