Despite how horrible both MR and CWN lives were...they were each other's reason to live. Remember, CWN was the reason MR decided to live and survive, because for the first time, he felt someone cared for him, someone helped him! And MR was also the reason CWN had a purpose in life, seeing child MR was an eye opening for CWN to explore the world and do something to save the world...without this, when he found out he was created as a replacement, he might lose hope to live...thinking his existence didn't serve any purpose..

Oh try it...I mean, there are many of us who felt so depressed after reading this, but then we were kinda craving for more. I remember reading up to certain chapters and then had to take a break before my soul was ready to read further, haha
