Then you also got chapters from the murderer's point of view where the whole background, planning, action, reasoning etc were explained... So, in the end, the only thing keeping you going is to find out who exactly this murderer is...(usually it's someone in the circle of that family)...then in the last chapter, you found out "oh, so the chapters from murderer's point of view were actually from inside the head of the wife"...then you know, the killer is the wife. Imagine reading such novels, but you already know the wife is the villain. Then, there is no fun in it anymore. When you read the murderer's chapters, you already know it is the wife! I don't know if I explain this well, hahahaha....
