I guess that's why you got the impression that JM had not fallen for XF during the engagement...
There were a few flashback scenes in the later episodes...but to be honest, I don't even remember vividly the order of the timing...haha

But the best part of the drama was really on the later part, where all our hearts were squeezed to dry lol...

You kidding me? If I were RY, I wouldn't be that patient to wait and plan for so long...I would have killed the heaven empress right away and didn't even care what the consequence...hahaha

I saw Lie to Love there...well, at least I will watch that...although I actually prefer LYX in costume drama...

Not yet, I don't normally watch Korean. But just today I had lunch and my friend literally told me the whole Squid Game scenes during that 2.5h lunch...haha, and I managed to guess who was the mastermind!!!

Actually RY knew JM liked XF, and he also knew about the pill JM swallowed. There was this scene (I roughly remember) where he intentionally fixed that pill to prevent JM being able to feel for XF, and then JM woke up being 'idiotic' again...and he was scheming to make JM's father agreed on the engagement...
I still remembered XF's face reaction when he finally realized JM was not his half-sister thinking "oh, there is hope!" but then within second his face changed to 'shit, she is engaged to my bro'...haha
At least for me, I feel throughout the series that JM only had XF in her heart...although deep inside, I wished she would fall for RY. And maybe I was bias, even though RY was bad, but his condition was justified (in my opinion, of course in general there is no justified evil act, haha)...I mean, I felt as mad as he was feeling, and kinda hoped he ruined the whole heaven for good...but XF was indeed upright, and been misunderstood.

Btw, I didn't right away like DL from AoL, I was too bias towards LYX...haha...but then, I watched him on reality shows like Go Fighting, Great Escape, Happy Camp...it is just impossible not to fall in love with his personality as a real person.

Omg, I just realized we were the same victim of AoL! Except, while you are a victim of LYX...I am a victim of both LYX and DL, hahahaha.
I only knew them from this drama, including YZ. And ever since, I swear I would be loyal to these three!
Although I don't agree with how you feel about Xufeng, but the point is...DL, LYX and YZ really gave the highest acting level I have ever seen so far...making you so drawn into the character (incl. your resentment towards XF).
I love both XF and RY, and I loved to see how their relationship went up and down...and I cried when XF called RY 'ge'...😥

Hey, trust me. You won't be able to hate either DL or LYX...in fact, you will see how strong their chemistry is...and how good their acting because they would show you how their relationship evolved from brotherhood, to feeling distant, to hatred, to friendship etc etc...I specifically love DL & LYX chemistry...even more than their chemistry with FL, hahahaha

I randomly came to this page and really surprised that there is still on-going discussion over this drama!!
I just wanna say...I miss drama with acting quality like in AoL...DL, LYX, YZ...this drama is so far the best in my opinion in portraying the chemistry between 3-lead, thx to such amazing actors/actress! This drama had put me in emotion rollercoaster because the chemistry between DL-YZ, LYX-YZ and DL-LYX was top notch!

I haven't watched ep 31 onwards, but I did sneak on some scenes in raw...
I thought he only knows for sure in ep 35/36...when he called her 'Chu Jiu Ling' and she unconsciously responded...

I have rarely seen 'hyx when' recently 😂
I think people already accept that it won't air this year...and imagine if it comes as a surprise...

I know some people had an impression that he was a mommy's boy, coming from rich family and enjoyed all the privilege in the industry because of their parents...
But I guess people get to know him more and more now seeing how hard working he is and how dedicated he is to his role, especially as MR...and he is very humble from his wordings in most of the interviews...

They are up for no good, for sure 😂

I don't know how old is JJY, but at least in this drama, since she came from the past...so I assumed she was basically 10 yrs younger than everyone...haha
Oh please...I can't agree more to the fact that WXH and QY were so hot!!! Their romance was so mature and so 'adult' that it made it hard to believe that WXH really still had feeling for LCX because I got the vibe of 'teenager' around LCX, mainly because her make up, her style etc...really didn't fit the mature WXH.
I don't know if it is intentionally made that way...
