The live adaptation of a novel will never be able to portray every single detail, thus sometimes make people think the storyline has flaws or illogical parts...well, it is just a limitation of # episodes plus censorship... So, XL ascended 3 times...so this is what I understand on his life timeline: XL as crown prince --> 1st ascension Then he descended because he wanted to save Xianle --> 1st banishment XL lost, robbed, released the disease, stabbed many times then Junwu went down to beat white no face --> 2nd ascension Then XL requested to be banished right away --> 2nd banishment Now...the next was his life collecting scrap?
