I mean, hyx can be just another regular xianxia drama...it can't be banned for no reason. Actually, if China is so strict, I always wonder how come they are so open to allow so many palace dramas which use real names, real people images from their history and then created a totally different drama or fantasy out of it. Like even in Court lady, the drama clearly showed how the crown prince (in history, emperor LiChengqian) is gay...how did that even pass censorship...

People are just trying to create an atmosphere of fear, for whatever motivation it is, but I do believe you can't simply just ban something out of pressure from internet. Is it only on twitter?
