What is the purpose of this Series ? To make Lu Xiao Fan miserable until the last minute ?

I mean everytime i think ohh he and his Brother in law will just live in his cute Appartment and happy end. That is the happiness that i meant that i have hope that they just end up together and be finally happy.

For me its an 8/10 i like that it was an BL with a genre that isnt that common for Bls and the acting skills are also quite good but it wasnt as good as other BLs that i have watched. But that is just personal preference. There Height difference though !
