I think the call was from the detective and he told Jung Bae about what Sang Ah tried to bribe him with. The number came in unknown - sang ah had blocked his real number so the guy probably decided to call him from a different phone number since he couldnt get in touch with Jung Bae. That would certainly have pushed him over the edge with all the other stuff that had happened. Imagine how you would feel knowing your "daughter" was trying to steal your company and then find out she isnt your daughter and then get a call from your PI telling you your "daughter" tried to bribe him into not telling you what he found out.

History repeats itself - SeonJu will save Jung Bae the same way Man Eun saved his dad. I think in that blurriness when he looked at Seon Ju - that he will think he is seeing his dead wife - this may trigger something in him at how seon ju looks like seol hee.

in the flashbacks she doesnt get the chance to abandon Seol He, but she definitely wanted to. She was backing away from the car and was going to leave her there to die but the witness showed up and he called the ambulance.
Not sure what you mean that she may have killed her FIL? She never visited him even though she told Jung Bae she did.

i thought it was her pills she was throwing out since she faked being hurt/sick. throwing away his pills doesnt accomplish anything? - he can just go get some more from his pharmacy or dr.

i believe they had filed for divorce already because he told her he had no assets but we knew he had that money - so because they had already separated and were in the middle of a divorce, he may not have any claim to the money - even if he did, he lied to the courts, committed perjury and fraud. the courts would give it all to her. plus she has their daughter in her custody and he has been a dead-beat dad. they could force him to pay yer more - alimony And child support along with the winnings.

they were already in the middle of their divorce when she got the ticket - so i dint believe he would have been entitled to it - but even so, it had to be reported on the financial docs to the divorce court - he stated as fact that he had no assets - so he lied. he not only committed perjury but he also committed theft and fraud. he will be in a lot of trouble if she pursues it in a court of law. he knows it too which is why he is giving in and paying her back the money. she should have demanded the car from him too.

see i didnt see that scene the way you did. i felt like he was appeasing her because he didnt want to go at first but then sort of made up his mind and decided to. i dont think he reacted to her as his child and yes, your first sentence was my whole point - testing her against soon ae proves soon ae lied to him about sang ah and she cant say her own child got switched - if he had tested his with sang ah’s then soon ae could always say the hospital gave her to wrong baby and she didnt know - but proving they are bio mom and daughter keeps her from making that claim.

because seon ju is soft hearted ( i noticed she even called yoon ae “mother” in that scene in the studio) and we need a reason for jung bae and yoon ae to get together. 😂

she can get her divorce case reopened - no need for a civil suit. he would be in much bigger trouble that route because he lied to the court that he had no money. had the court known, seon ju could have gotten alimony and child support out of him and probably been awarded most, if not all, of that money. nam jin is about to lose it all - that apartment and that car. who knows, jung bae may end up moving in that house with the rest of the pi family and yoon ae may too if seon ju feels sorry for her and allows her to come live there. 😂

just a feeling i had from the way he looked at her when she was gushing over how proud she was of sang ah to win that second round. and think about it - it is better him knowing she is soon ae’s bio daughter because she could always claim that she was given the wrong child if it turned out she wasnt his - but getting proof that soon ae is sang ah’s bio mom really points to her deviousness and evilness to pass off her iwn daughter as hus with his previous wife. if he did test their dna with each other, i think that is pretty ingenious of him. proving she is soon ae’s bio daughter would automatically prove she is not his bio daughter.
