i believe we are seeing the beginning workings that will lead SJ and SW to start their own comoany. it is clear Jung Bae id NOT going to take a stand against SA because she is playing the victim card - blaming everyone except herself and her own choices - until she can accept responsibility fir her own actions, she will continue to suffer. Jung Bae is too weak - i cant even imagine how he was able to build his comoany if he allows himself to be manipulated this easily. He is going to see his comoany crumble - she has already embezzled money from it for her mother - they will not be able to pay it back - she will frame Seon Ju for it - guaranteed. I have no sympathy for SA. she is an evil-minded person who thinks because she got her feelings hurt that everyone should sympathize with her and railroad Seon Ju and So Woo with her. shedeserves to suffer for it all - and seeing the two people who caused so much grief for 2 families now trying to see who can backstab the other the most is amusing. there is no honor among thieves.

unless Jung Bae becomes incapacitated temporarily and she becomes the stand-in CEO (SA, that is) then she wouldnt need anyone’s input - she could do what she wanted and cite financial reasons. she will have to answer to the Board of Directors but doesnt seem like any of them woild probably oppose her because she has a way, with her mean temper - of -ittingnpeople in their place. anyone opposing her, she would blackmail with something - that is how she is. Let’s hope Jung Bae doesnt end up having a stroke over finding out the truth before finding out SJ is his daughter.

Exactly - and if Squinters was not able to see well, how in the world did he start gambling? Is this something he did in the past or something he just picked up - was he involved in gambling in the past and that could be how he had enough money to afford a private room and multiple surgeries? I am glad you remembered the details of his first scenes in the hospital better than me! 😂

Whatever he had been doing for 30 years, he obviously was not a good person - he never changed - especially when he raised his hand to Soon Ae and then threatened to tell everyone he was her ex-husband I

f they were married, when did she obtain a divorce without him? That would have taken her a little bit but maybe during the time of her pregnancy was enough? And being pregnant would have been a bit longer because there is a 3 month waiting period - unless she did it right away, showed any hidden bruises or scars, and failed to tell the court she was pregnant. Sorry for digressing - law fascinates me. 😂

I don't think the note was written by her husband - I think, as Kdramafann91 said, it had to be either Soon Ae or Squinters who wrote the note - i am leaning towards Soon Ae because out of the two she probably had the better handwriting and worded it better than Squinters would have. But you would think ME would know her husband's handwriting.

but she was obviously pregnant in the hospital and when the wife died she told the staff she wanted to have her baby asap - she had her labor induced so she could give birth and pass the child off as jung bae’s - remember she kept staring at the dead wife’s child for amlong time then she rang the nurse and told them she wanted to have her baby - i think she told them she felt like something was wrong or she needed to have the baby - something along those lines - cant remember exactly - but my point i am trying to make is she made a decision with all that thinking - she was hatching out her plan to snare jung bae - or at least to pass her own daughter off as his - so she needed the two to have the same birthday or as close as possible in days.

somehow in all of that, Squinters became her partner in crime…..how and why, i cant put it together yet - and ME’s husband became entangled in their mess. i think the only reason Squinters went back to their old town was to see if anyone knew where she was at the moment - he had, somehow, lost contact with her over the years - was he in prison? did it ever tell us that or are we assuming that is where he has been? He knew Sang Ah was his daughter so if he didnt have any contact with her after she left and went to Seoul, how did he know about Sang Ah? and when she left Seoul up to the accident, it had to be with in a 7-8 month timeframe - she wasny visibly pregnant when she left but by the accident she was 9 months - and when she was laying in the hospital bed you could tell she was pregnant - but she had a large coat on at the accident scene which is why we couldnt tell.

so how did ME’s husband die and why was he killed and how and when did all three come in contact with each other again ?

Well we don't know what happened after the guy walked up - it hasn't shown in detail - the next scene we got was her in the hospital and the wife was dying. We are slowly getting more and more tidbits of info from the flashbacks. The place they were at could have been close to where she came from - we do know it was a small town because their "hospital" was a small clinic.

When she left ME she went to Seoul - so her and the wife were going somewhere or coming back from somewhere - I think I need to go back and re-watch the scene of the accident - it just showed the man ask if they needed help and she turned around and looked at the man then it showed the wife in the car passed out - what happened after that we don't know - maybe it was then he recognized her and she recognized him?

Obviously all conjecture on my part until they give us more information on that whole scene - if they ever do. But at some point Squinters, ME's husband, and Soon Ae had to have met - probably by accident - and there was a fight of some kind and ME's husband was killed. He must have witnessed something with the baby's being switched or the wife dying.....

Has Seon Ju mentioned not knowing her father? I got the feeling she did know him but if she was dropped off after he died then she never knew ME's husband as her dad.

you are probably correct - now that you mention that i think there were stairs when they were eating - i think that is the kitchen straight across from the gate and from there it goes to the salon which must face the street - so all the scenes we see are basically from the back of the house.

yeah that was a different angle - but it also makes me wonder since their part of the house looks like they are on the 2nd floor - i should go back and rewatch that scene and see if it shows stairs in the background.

Which would mean the salon doors were left unlocked at night.....

I wondered that too about Jung Bae and ME - even though she was married at the time of the salon offer for the reward - she may have eventually ended up with him - and maybe she still will?

he can't be the missing son because it would make him and sang siblings - I thought maybe the actor's brother? but now we have that guy who walked into the actor's brother's office and took those pictures of Jin Ju's computer screen on the show they are trying to develop - i think it may be him? It would have to be either an unknown character at this point or the actor's brother. If Jin Ju is to get together with the actor's brother - at this pont she cant because we know actor and mi ju are going to get married so they would be in-laws - you know they dont like messy family trees - but if he urned out to be the son of squinters and soon ae - then he would not be related to actor at all - the whole thing would be better if it was an unknown character like the guy who stole Jin Ju's work for the new show.

oh yeah, Soon Ae was definitely involved in it. It is really sad when you think about it - She really screwed ME's family over after all ME did for her when they were younger. Talk about being stabbed in the back over and over and over by someone you thought of as a friend - and you arent even aware of just how bad those stabs were - yet. It will break ME's heart knowing her beloved husband that she has been waiting for all these years was killed by that evil thing.

we are assuming that squinter's hospital visit was caused my ME though - if he killed ME's husband, he may have been injured in that fight - I am thinking that witness to the car accident might have either been squinters or ME's husband - I am leaning more towards ME's husband because he was probably more likely to help people than Squinters would have.

which is weird because when they come in the gate - the salon seems like it is just right there straight ahead - or leads to it. Yet when actor comes in, he is coming off of a street - so is their gate like an alley entrance and they just come in the back way and the rest of the house faces the front? and as expensive as houses are in Korea - and typically very small - they certainly have a HUGE house w/business for a "poor" family. 😂

Didnt they talk to the kids about keeping the doors locked when NJ's mother was discovered by the kids that day? Obviously they dont care that they leave their gate and doors unlocked. You would think she would with her business being right there.
