I remember! I use to watch General Hospital and Days of Our Lives - even watched All My Children for a while. I still remember Luke and Laura's first wedding on General Hospital - yep, I am THAT old. LOL

In ep 14 Man Eun is talking on the phone with Soon Ae and she says “Do you remember back then when i use to put my girlS to sleep and we would drink Makgeolli on the levee…?” And Soon Ae cuts her off and says she doesn’t remember that - but the word girls is clearly plural so we know from ep 12 she already has Jin Ju - her oldest daughter - so who is the Other girl? It would have to be seon Ju, right? But Sang Ah and Seon Ju were in the same grade in school so they had to be the same age - so that means Sang Ah had to already be around too - this gets more confusing now. When Soon Ae sees Seon Ju for the first time in the salon in ep 10, she doesnt even bat an eye like she recognizes her or her name - she just says that she looks like her mom - so if she didnt recognize her, why does she not want Seon Ju to ever be seen by the chairman?
No jin ju, the oldest could not have been the switched child because she was already around 6-7, maybe even 8 when these flashbacks took place between Soon Ae and ME - she was too old.

Ok here it is:

Ep 9 flashback Man Eun states her husband is away deep sea fishing - so maybe he was lost at sea…..?
Ep 10 in Soon Ae’s salon - Man Eun mentions the name Dong Soo and Soon Ae yells at her and cuts her off so one has to wonder if that was the name of her ex that use to beat her.
Ep 10 at around the 6:00 mark or a little after - as Seon Ju, Mi Ju, and ME are leaving the salon, ME looks at Seon Ju and says “Wait, does she just have the two girls? there’s no eldest son?” And Seon Ju says “i don’t think so” and then ME looks puzzled but she just gets in the car.
Ep 12 at 19:00 mark we see Jin Ju as a little girl in a flashback - she looks to be about 6-7 years old.

I need to catch up on My Merry Marriage - i got to ep 17 and kind of stalled there. I have been hearing that Study Group is really good. I am going to hold off on it because i really want to finish other stuff first. I have too many dramas going at once. LOL

Yeah there have been a lot of dramas that were immensely popular but a lot of people felt they were overrated - then there are those that were pretty good and got low ratings. I know some say haters of certain actors will go and deliberately rate their dramas lower - whatever the reason, I usually will try to ignore the ratings and just watch to see if I like it or not. I will give a drama 4-5 eps before I will drop it if I don't like it, mainly because it sometimes takes that long for the story lines to get set up and for things to start moving.
BTW, how have you been?

well tbh, some of the daily dramas and weekend dramas have terrible writers. Every once in a while we get a really good one - I am hoping this one will be a good weekend drama.

I mean ANYTHING is possible in dramaland - can't be twins because if the chairman's deceased wife had twins then that means Seon Ju and So Woo would be brother and sister. Cant be that SSA had twins because that means So Woo and Sang Ah would be siblings (this is all assuming So Woo is the missing male child being referred to) and they were married so that can't happen. So I think there is a male character we havent been introduced to yet? Obviously we dont know what happened to HM's husband - is he dead or will he show up? I am gonna go back today and try to find that episode where HM asked about the male child and I will post the ep number so y'all can rewatch - could be just a red herring the writers threw in there too and it may never be addressed. I have watched many of these dramas where they start in a certain direction on a story then it gets dropped and questions go unanswered.

No there wouldnt be 3 baby switches - only 2 - two girls switched after birth - how easy would it be for SSA to take her baby and switch it out - the hospital they were in was actually just a country clinic so they probably didnt have the staff on hand to watch over everything - she could just move the babies in their bassinets - if she had just given birth too she might have volunteered to nurse the deceased chairman's baby - the two women came in together so she could have told the hospital they were best friends - it would be easy for her to do that - put hers in the deceased mother's baby's crib and take that baby and put in hers - and then she could just leave the hospital with her baby and take it to him letting him think it was his bio child - then she could go back to the hospital and take the other baby that they would think is hers and leave - she then takes that baby to an orphanage and drops her off. Deed done. He would never know unless a DNA test was done or the baby had needed a blood transfusion and neither his blood type or his deceased wife's blood type matched.
And yes, if Seon Ju is the real daughter of the chairman, then that means she would be half-sister to Chu Ah - but in the end that may be a good thing because Seon Ju would, as her older sister, make her regret all the crappy things she did to Min Ju and her family.

No you are misunderatanding my reference to her being the chairman's daughter. My thought changed a bit - or flip-flopped from my previous view - after watching the flashback they showed yesterday. Let me explain.

So the guy in the pic in the salon - I think he is HM's husband - she has been waiting for him to return. We still dont know what happened to him. - we dont know that Jin Ju wasn't already born when she saved that old man - Chairman's father. Neither of the two women mentioned having kids, that I can remember , in the flashbacks of them talking.

Back to the flashback yesterday - SSA shows up at Jung Bae's home with a baby - and he says "I told you I would come to the hospital for the baby" - so obviously he already knew his deceased wife gave birth and probably knew the gender - the hospital would have informed him. Since I believe SSA substituted her daughter - Sang Ah - for his bio daughter - then that means both women had to have had girls. He was already planning his wife's funeral, he knew she had the baby, so he had to have also been told the sex of the baby - so no way a boy baby could be substituted for a girl baby - so that theory goes out the window - hence the reason i am now thinking Seon Ju is the chairman's daughter with his deceased wife. So woo is obviously an orphan because it is mentioned in the drama but that doesn't mean he was placed in an orphanage - just means he lost both his parents at an early age - was the man he went to see, the adopted father? or a foster father? I cant remember if it said. I really need to go back and re-watch a few episodes.
But this brings me back to the other thing - the reason I thought So Woo was the chairman's son - HM finds out from Seon Ju that SSA had 2 daughters and she specifically asks if a male child was mentioned and wonders why he wasn't. Who was she referring to? Why would she think there was a male child? That is one of the episodes i want to go back and re-watch. We know it cannot be a case of twins - a boy and a girl - because that would mean either Seon Ju or Sang Ah would be a twin with most likely So Woo - so that can't happen.
I hope that makes sense?

LOL I just posted and said I wouldn't be surprised if she finds it and destroys it. Then they will never have the proof unless by some miracle someone come along that was either an eyewitness or filmed it from one of the cars around that area - i have seen dramas do this though - something major and then it never gets resolved. I am hoping this is not the case here. They deserve to find out the truth and sue them for every penny they have - but by then FL may find out she is Chairman's daughter? (I am still flip-flopping on this now - I really believed So Woo may have been the son but....not sure now? Time will tell) In any case, if it turns out Seon Ju was put in the orphanage, I wonder if it will be the same one that So Woo was in and they find out they were there at the same time? Maybe they will visit the orphanage together and someone there will recognize her name? Or maybe she will see her baby picture there on a wall or something? Who knows?

we have a long way to go though. We are only on ep 44 - a tad over 1/3 of the way through. LOL This will definitely be a drawn out drama. I wouldnt even be surprised if Chu Ah finds that stupid chip first and destroys it.

Ahh I have to remember the actor, Woo Sang, is technically a 3ML - he is who I was referring to. Sorry for the confusion. He is on to Chu Ah, I believe. And let's hope Min Ju doesnt vacuum the card up - and why is Chu Ah questioning who is in his room anyway (referring to the previews for next ep) and did she just walk herself into his bedroom? I can't stand her.

Yeah i totally agree with that last part - divorce is so commonplace in the US. But even so, i would not want to work with my cheating scumbag ex and his mistress. .

She will try but i dont think she will succeed. The 2ML is on to her now. We need Min Ju to find that dashcam card. I guess no one has swept under his desk since it got dropped there. 😂

😂 and they way she kept saying Hmmm amd licking her lips - I felt so sorry for So Woo. I really hope he puts MH in her place. That was incredibly RUDE of her to blindside him that way. Just disgusting way to treat someone who has already said he had no interest in dating - his divorce isnt even final yet either!
