But really their "relationship" started before she even went to work for him - enemies to lovers and in between all that she ended up working with him....but yeah, i always feel uneasy about workplace romances because if a bad breakup ensues then it becomes awkward and uncomfortable at work.

But I am almost 60 (the end of this year - yeah just turned 59 LOL) and i am the baby but like Loehla, I've been working since I was 15-16 years old and as you age you tend to learn to speak up for yourself. i have bit my tongue lots of times, like ES, over the years but the older i am getting the more outspoken I am and not taking someone else's 💩 anymore. And I remember the whole Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill hearings.

But here is my thing with this - SHE reciprocated his feelings. He wanted to MARRY her. She isn't a child - she is 28. She has dating experience. I don't think it is HIM as much as it is his psycho mom. She is fine in front of SW, but becomes a pile of jello in front of JA - stuttering, whimpering, hemming and hawing. i really wanted to smack her and say STOP LOOKING DOWN AND LOOK HER IN THE EYE! She allowed JA to get inside her head and make her feel worthless and not good enough. Instead of trusting in her love for SW and his for her, she allowed everyone to control how she feels about herself and for SW and that is when she betrayed him and stabbed him in the back on TV. I dont know how anyone could go back to her after that kind of betrayal tbh, but he still loves her. But she seems ok treating him like a pariah since they broke up while he is still kind to her.

I've learned that anytime this is put in the synopsis it will be angst, angst, and more angst and anything but humorous: "...tell the miraculous, thrilling, and humorous love story..."

Actually SW isn’t a step brother to EA and EH - he is their half brother if we are to believe he is truly JA’s bio son - which I do not. EA, EH, and SW , at this time, share 1 bio mom and that is JA. Personally I think SW is adopted given he is 1 year younger than EH. But that hasn’t been clarified yet in the drama.

Or the whole thumb over the mouth and he kisses his thumb instead. That one cracks me up! 😂

I watched BML too and I loved her character there a lot more - I think it is just the way these writers have written her character in this drama - I liked BML. That show was written a lot better than this one and the storyline was pretty good. It's just the writers. The last few dailies have just had terrible script writing. It makes me wonder sometimes if they dont even prepare for future episodes but just write from the seat of their pants and go with it daily. It's just very weird how they start good then falter, drag and then rush in the very last episode to resolve everything. They have weeks to write towards resolutions yet they ALWAYS bring in these guest characters at the very last then create angst then , like I said, resolve it in the very last episode. That's where BML got it right - they resolved it long before the end and the ending was very satisfactory for the leads.

That is interesting know about step-mother vs mother - and SW would have been young enough that he wouldn’t have remembered his real mother - just like EH didn’t have any memories of JA - but since it hasn’t been established that KS has ever been married before I can’t definitively say he is even KS’s child either - he could be adopted by both or he could be a nephew to KS that he adopted as his own . The problem here is we know absolutely nothing about KS other than he runs a company that has 1000 employees. Nothing has been revealed about his past other than he was a driver of a van/truck who hit JA and put her in the hospital. Whatever the case may be it will be interesting to see if the writers ever clear this up.

You may be thinking of the episode where JA was still looking for her kids and was frustrated because she felt that KS wasn’t serious about finding them - she said something to the effect that he didn’t care if she found her kids because he was living with his kid - but it has never said if he was married before - it just says SW and SJ are their kids on the character profiles on the KBS site. But if you look at the divorce timeline and the ages - there is no way SW can be her child. Unless she was cheating on DG and had him before their divorce - but we see in an earlier episode too where she is visiting the kids in the park and DG hands her a packet that says Seoul Family Court on it so we assume it’s their final divorce papers since this is the last time she sees her kids for 30 + years - EH was 3 at that time so SW would have been 2 already but there is no mention of him - then JA has her accident, finds out her kids are gone, and then remarries. So the timeline does not fit for him to be her son. If the writers never clarify that then they really messed up bad.

No that has never been revealed that Ki Seok was married before or had any kids. JA’s father was the driver for CY’s father - CY came from a rich family but they eventually went bankrupt. JA’s father died in an accident because CY called her father late at night one night and demanded he come pick her up after a party - JA has blamed CY for her father’s death ever since - and then of course she blames CY for the break up of her marriage to DG.

SW is only a year younger than EH - so he can’t be JA’s bio son. She didn’t get her divorce until EH was 2-3 years old.

I was just thinking the same thing - all of these mini dramas are either revenge or they transmigrate into a novel or game. LOL

I don't trust Je Ha - that dude is a slimeball - he is using the excuse to "rehearse" kiss scenes with ES just to get close with her and imo that is sexual harassment. On top of that, like Loehla and I both were saying tonight - what actor tells his Director to "excuse us" when rehearsing? Isnt it the Director's job to watch and give advice - in all the behind the scenes I have seen the Director even gives pointers on how to move the head for each kiss to get the best angle - that is always done at filming time - you dont see the actors going full on kiss outside of the camera rolling.

And while on the subject of him - I think I said it before but I feel like him and SW's friend are in cahoots - they both arrived around the same time and they both confessed to liking SW/ES around the same time, and as Loehla said they both seem to keep pressing SW/ES about their relationship - what are they up to? Why would an actor who is supposedly as "famous" as Je Ha is take a small role like this? I can't believe it is because he read about ES in the news - funny he knows about her but she never realized he got "famous"?? This whole story makes no sense.

SW's friend - I can't even be bothered to remember her name - is a mini HY - She confessed, he rejected her, told he was still in love with ES, yet she "can't give up and he needs to give her a chance" What is wrong with these women????

GR crying was so sad. But that witch made sure she used it to make MG think her mom was sick and dying. She knew GR would tell MG so she had no choice but to tell him the made up story herself. She is sick. I dont even care if she starts feeling guilty - I hope she gets caught and goes to jail but we know she won't. She will probably get ticked off at DC even more and try to break things off with him and he will run and tell MG all about her. There is no loyalty among thieves.

MG - dumb as a rock. his gut keeps telling him something is off and fishy but he still keeps giving her money and now his mom is going to as well. But MG - why???????

SW blew JA's objections to EH/HY out of the water - and the look she gave him was funny. If he, the object of HY's "affection"/Obsession has no objection to his brother being with HY, then why should anyone else? JA needs to get over her narcissistic self. All she does is make everyone around her unhappy. Why KS loves her is beyond me - she is a terrible terrible person.

So if for some uncanny reason SJ does end up with MG, how will she feel when Mommy Dearest decides to break them up too? Or even if EA ends up with him - You know JA will never allow that to happen - especially if she finds out he is DY's grandson and HY's nephew - and that each of the sisters like him - I can't wait for THAT storyline.

Now, SW - he is not JA's son according to this writer's timeline - IF he turns out to be adopted, how angry will everyone be at JA for being such a hypocrite and realizing it then makes no difference if he is with ES or not - even though they are not blood related to each other he will then not even be blood related to JA - I HOPE this happens.

Yeah he really overdid the “he looks just like MG and it is all thanks to MG’s genes” bit.

I am having to catch up from yesterday. So ES was willing to rehearse the kiss scene as long as SW didn’t watch? What is she going to do when they film it? He IS the Director after all. 🤦🏼‍♀️

It is frustrating when its all continuous doom and gloom. I cant even remember the last time an episode was a happy one.

I was just telling Loehla the other night that this was going to end with a lot of unanswered and unresolved issues because we were running out of time. Then they extended it. 😂
