Wasted storyline on Unpredictable Family. So much more could have been done with established characters from the beginning - especially JS - but instead they added others at the end that became nothing but fillers to get us to the end - then they added 2 extra weeks of episodes. This could have ended this week with episode 106.
Writers missed a golden opportunity with the JS character. They could have had more for her as far as the storyline went but she became nothing but the scapegoat for the divorce 33 years previously - just another person for JA to blame. I was hoping for more from her character given her background they teased us with. Instead we got Ji Yeon, Si Heon, Jang Yu ri, and Je Ha. 🙄 What a waste.
I don't think there will be any kind of romance between her and him - it will be more like a mother/son.
why would there not be? Didn't say I wished for it - just said I didn't think it was romance but more like mother/son.

Seeing how much he wants his relationship to work I think if he knew he would've already done something about…
It could be him protecting his mom though - she is the only mother he has known and maybe he doesn’t want her to get hurt - makes me wonder if he knew when he went abroad at 17/18 and that is why he didn’t return for all those years….or it could be he is clueless - maybe he is realizing he wants to be with ES enough to step aside as Ja’s son…there is no telling how the writers will go with this story. They have messed up the timeline so bad and created ages at the drop of a hat - SW has been 32, 34, now 35 - he left for America at 17, and came back 15 years later - which would have made him 32 - but now, in less than a year he is 3 years older than that - then KBS site changed his age of going to US from 17, to now 18 - but it is still off if he was gone 15 years - he went from being 4 years older than ES to 7 years older now. 😂 The story changes like the wind.
So today’s ep was interesting and funny. We got more background on JA, KS, and SW. It will be interesting to see if SW knows already or if he is clueless about JA.
SW seems to be the only one putting effort and trying to find a way to make their relationship work while ES just…
and preview for ep 105 again shows her looking at their picture - what was the point of that? Stop mooning and get on with your life or get back together - seriously she annoys me so much! If she treated SW with some respect I would not dislike her so much but she is so mean to him and just rude. And allowing this other guy to buy her clothes and put his arm around her - it's 🤮
