I think HY’s mom was probably one of the many women that her dad divorced, but I don’t believe it has ever really said that onscreen - but Jin Sil’s character profile on KBS site seems to indicate that the kids got left behind in divorces so I assume that one was her husband and the other, many years later, was HY.
Previously I was rooting for SW and ES. All this going back and forth because of their families made me lose interest…
For real. I don’t know if I could forgive my brother if he did that to me. HY was hateful toward ES and a stalker toward SW. sad part is EH will probably never know how HY stalked SW - as a cop he should have realized it by the way she talked about him and how she was going to break SW up with his girlfriend by any means necessary - but nope, the dumb cop just looked the other way. He needs to wake up and smell the coffee - she is only with him cause she thought she had lost him - I be willing to bet if SW ever made a move in her direction she would drop EH like yesterday’s news.
Let’s hope she hasn’t brought another kid along that is sick or another one for MG to raise while she goes…
Did you watch AOME? If you did, you would know. He was the ML and was relegated as SML for over half the drama. He even posted about it on his IG when the drama ended - we all saw it happening and he did too as well as his friends. It was terrible.
Since watcing K-dramas I think the biggest shocks for me are:
1. the whole Oppa thing - is he a friend-brother? a Biological brother? a boyfriend? It's very confusing at times. 2. workplace bullying by a superior - i was shocked at how a superior can actually lay hands on an employee and no one does or says anything? Is this an actual thing or just made up for drama sake? 3. skin regimen - Koreans take such beautiful care of their skin and it shows. 4. how late kids go to school - this surprised me too - seems like the kids never have anytime for fun - when do they even sleep?
It's pretty interesting getting to learn about other countries and their cultures. I have learned a lot since watching Asian dramas.
