The writer’s changed his storyline. Originally he wasn’t suppose to be with YJ but was suppose to do whatever he could to break MR and KS up. The writer has switched gears a few times during this drama from the original synopsis.

I guess since Netflix is an American company they are going with American scheduling - which sucks.

I’m looking forward to seeing this one.

He will never leave without JD. It’s going to be sad when she finds out he isn’t her biological father because she already said today she felt like she was getting in the way of him being happy with MR. She’s going to feel even more so when she finds out KS isn’t her father.

Maybe KS was told he had to move into the Hwang home if he wants to marry MR.

That’s a good way to look at it but what SS said to KS was unnecessary and cruel. I also t wish his wife would find someone new and further add to his crumbling world. Good grief. These in laws are like thugs beating poor KS’s mind and self esteem to nothing.

No in an earlier episode, CR is talking to her dad and she mentions that her daughter died just a year after her husband did and then even earlier episode Soo Ji is discussing with Jae Hyun about what happened to his “real” sister - her death being caused by a nanny the family had hired. This is when they were going to hire KS and she was against it because she felt like he may be like that nanny and hold a grudge against them all and try to hurt JP. So evidently the nanny had a bone to pick with the family - it doesn’t say much beyond that. We don’t know how the daughter died, what happened to the nanny, how old Na Yeon was (that was the daughter’s name).

And considering the chairman investigated DH, I am shocked he didn’t do the same thing for KS - especially given how CR’s daughter died due to a nanny that was hired by the family years ago.

But this drama has been 100 times better than TRHC, imo. Even though I have hated some of the side characters, at least they have dimensions to them. TRHC has the most boring side characters that really serve no purpose in the story or to the leads.

To me they don’t taste as strong as green onions but they do have an onion flavor.

The sad part is, her mom, OF ALL PEOPLE, shouldn’t be looking down on a single dad raising his daughter. She raised her son alone for a year then turned around and adopted MR to raise for the next 20 - this is starting to remind me too much of TRHC.

Yep, it left a hole in my heart. 😭 I cried through this episode. And was angry crying too.

JP really was sad. That kid is a good actor because he made me cry!

Ah, MIL. The wicked witch of the East. She can’t let go of KS, and maybe it’s because he is her last link to her dead daughter. If she lets go, she has to really let go of her dead daughter. Maybe this is what is fueling her, but her obsession with KS is beyond abnormal and it’s also to the point of how a stalker would be towards their victim. Unrelenting. Harassing. Poor KS can barely breathe in that house anymore without offending someone. They all take turns hitting him over the head with a bat each time he dares to try and do something for himself. How dare she, who is not even his MIL anymore, try to tell him who he can and cannot date and to get mad because he didn’t tell her! Woman, he owes you NO favors when it comes to his love life. I was literally yelling at her “It’s none of your Business!”

Don’t get me started in KS and MR in ep 96 today. Both disappointed me. They need to sit down and have a long talk. KS needs to ask MR, “Are we in this together to the end because if you aren’t, speak now. Don’t be like YD on TRHC and jump ship when the stress gets real and the trouble increases. If you can’t stick it out, let’s break up now. But I need to know where you stand and that you won’t give up just because the going is getting tough.”

JD has lost her usefulness. She is no longer needed to butter up to so the claws just came out. I figured this was HR’s nasty way of getting back at JD for what she did to HR.

Because JD is no longer useful to HR. She never truly cared about her and today it was more obvious than ever. We don’t have very many weeks left. If Sun Ju is returning, it needs to be now. I’m beginning to doubt she is coming back.
