It’s never said how long he was in jail or how long she was at the orphanage before she was adopted but we have to believe it was very quickly done once she arrived there.

I had to laugh because in episode 59, SS is telling KS to go after HR that this may be his last chance at finding Haengbok (happiness) - that’s MR’s real name - kind of a funny way of the writer’s saying he needs to find MR.

The sister and CR had a conversation about that - the sister was the mediator between CR and DH because DH was too ashamed to face CR as a potential adopted mother to MR. So sister was visiting DH in jail to work out the details of the adoption. CR had wanted to talk to DH herself but he wouldn’t allow her to see him.

Yep, she’s been after him from the very beginning but it ramped up when she found out her ex was marrying a much younger woman.

They did and I came across that episode tonight. In addition to being chairman’s personal driver and assistant, he also drove the delivery truck for him in those early years.

Well if the two teens follow their namesakes from Boys Over Flowers, JD will become a doctor and JP will run the business. 😂

I did just rewatch an episode where KS is talking to his dad again about being abandoned and he does say he was a newborn when his dad abandoned him.

I had to go look because I totally did not notice that today.

SJ is always harping in chairman’s ear - she almost has him brainwashed in some ways.

SJ has said more than once that MR should marry an average man with an average life. The writers keep stressing average.

Maybe grandma didn’t know. Even if you go by the old Korean age it would still be 22 years - it’s weird that they always keep saying KS was abandoned by his dad when he was 20 - they don’t say KS was abandoned by his dad when he was a new born, or even when he was 2 years old - they have made it seem like mom gave birth and dumped him on dad immediately, who immediately dumped him on his own mother. They have never indicated KS was 2 years old when he was dumped. But it wouldn’t matter because you can’t erase 22years. Twenty-two years is Twenty-two years.

Let’s say we go by the old Korean age system - even if SD is 57 in Korean age, the youngest he could be by international age is 55 - but you would have to do the same with KS. You can’t get around the age discrepancy - it’s a 21 (at the least) to 22year age variance.

I work with numbers for a living so this kind of thing just bugs me.

Hmm…so I was looking at the ages of the characters on the KBS site.

KS - 35 years old
SD - 57 years old

That doesn’t add up.

That is a 22 year difference. KS and SD, both, have said repeatedly that KS was abandoned by his dad when his dad was 20. So how is that possible?

So now I have to wonder - is KS even SD’s son? Is this why he couldn’t register his birth?

Just watched another earlier episode where Soo Ji is telling Jae Hyun that MR should not marry JH because she should not upset the management - meaning the hierarchy - she doesn’t want the Dong’s to get their hands in the shares MR has. She then says “ MR should marry an average guy with an average life because you are the heir and it all needs to go to our son.” So…Soo Ji is going to be an ally for KS and MR to be together because she wants MR to marry an average guy. This would be the perfect way for KS to be a long lost grandson…

I still have my suspicions of him. Seeing him in those earlier episodes, his expressions and what he says - he hasn’t impressed me much.
