I think shes already been suspecting something. Her dad has been so wrapped up in MR he hasn't even been paying attention to JD coming and going, taking mysterious texts, phone calls, coming in late at night, all these red flags and dad is not catching on to it.

Everything i am finding on HS indicates he is not as good of a friend as we use to think. In fact, id say he is probably even worse based on some things he has said. At the beginning it was hard to gauge his remarks as bad but given we are nearly through the drama i can now construe his remarks as something far worse.

Looks like it. So many people adhering to the original premise if the storyline on another site and i have to keep telling them the story is changing. And that premise id from the US KBS site - the korean one says nothing about JH forbidding her to see her dad.

Yeah but big D wont see it that way. He will still think she isn’t good enough. MR is a lost cause for him now. He wont want a DIL that has an ex-convict for a dad and he obviously doesn’t want him as a BIL either from the preview. I think he will start pursuing CR again and chairman will push it too. KS will be lucky if Chairman doesn't fire him and im sure SJ will push that too.

Yep but it isn’t like they can force her to give them up. Remember when she had the blind date at the beginning? Chairman even berated CR for setting MR up with the son of that huge company because she would take her shares with her and she could betray them by giving them to that family - so those shares are hers.

Even chairman too because I think we are going to hate him more before it’s over because he is not going to approve of MR marrying KS - he likes KS as his caregiver and respects him in some ways but I think as far as believing KS is on the same level as his family, it’s a big no. And what’s so hypocritical about ALL of this is chairman started his company out as a street vendor - so his beginnings were humble - yet he is a snob.

Even more so when Jae Hyun says he isn’t interested in HDF and JP says the same…..

I think the whole premise is she can be a part of the Hwang family as long as she denies her father and never sees him again. kS is going to really push her to not do that because she may regret it. The Dong men would welcome her into their family as long as she cut ties to her father, but like I said, that ship is long gone so it’s a moot point. The fight from here on out will be 3 fold: MR reuniting with her father and being kicked out of the family, MR falling for KS further alienating her family and possibly KS losing his job, and the return of Sun Ju - I still can’t help but keep hope alive for the long lost grandson issue to come up. We will see.

Reminds me of TRHC mom at the beginning and how she let everyone assault and abuse her son for over 20 years. Now she is doing it. CR has let her dad verbally abuse MR as long as she has been with them - 20 years. What’s with these moms?
