They're 2 completely different types of shows, so it's hard to compare. THRC was really interesting and fun, but…
It’s a very slow burn for the leads - and I do mean slow. But if you skip those episodes you may miss some information on the characters - it’s so spread out it’s hard to say skip from 10 to 70 for me because there is stuff that is important know in those episodes but I couldn’t tell you which episodes to watch exactly because it IS so spread out. If by progression of romance are the leads together during that time then the answer is no. We are just at 84 tomorrow and the leads are still not together officially but the awareness and looks have began in earnest now. The leads have always had a way of looking back at the other as they were walking away but the “romance” has not been there - until now. I’d say they had a deep mutual respect for each other growing from the time they met until now. But the ML has been legally married so you could not expect too much when he was in that status. I won’t spoil it but I can just say things have progressed.
Question: Ep 3 at the beginning - Grandfather says MR reminds him of Na Yeon…… I always thought he was talking about CR’s bio daughter but her name was Mi Ra (why CR named MR close to her dead daughter’s name is just weird to me) so who is Na Yeon? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 could she be….. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 a missing daughter? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Ok, I checked and it didn’t pan out but I did find it in Ep 12 - she died in 2005 so JH was 18 at the time which is interesting because MR is 8 years younger than him - so she started liking him around the time he left for college and we know he lived in the US since college because of his dad - so she really never saw him much except for when he probably came home for his mom’s death anniversary - yet she crushed in him all those years and the family said they were close??? Um,no. He was an adult - she was still a kid - she barely knew him!

I need to find the scene where aunty ding Dong and jr are at the mortuary on her death anniversary and see if it says anything. I think she will try to butter up to JD but I think she is at a point where she realizes now that MIL will be more of a challenge than JD. I think she believes that if she can win KS’s heart that JD has no choice but to accept or put up with her - she doesn’t seem to realize that JD;s happiness is truly what KS wants most of all. I think that is why KS was testing JD’s reaction today about how JD felt about MR touching his face - she didn’t have that ferocious reaction that she did when HR was grabbing KS’s hands.
Kids are pretty intuitive. JD is not dumb - she knows HR is basically “coveting” her dad and totally disregards her feelings about it. MR, in the other hand, is kind and gentle and listens to JD with a pure heart because she truly cares about Jd and not because she is trying to get with her dad. I think we may see JD get a slight bit jealous at first but I think she will quickly see how happy her dad is with MR and will help get them together and I think she will get JP to help as well. And she is also discovering young love for herself so that will occupy her time too so she won’t worry about her dad as much.
I forgot to ask earlier. What did everyone think of JD’s reaction that MR had been the one to touch her dad’s…

Yeah I didn’t like how they were talking about hm behind his back. Not friends at all.
Girl you are on FIRE! I love it. His shirt bothers me too! Like, give him a round collar t-shirt instead of a v-neck if you are going to have him wear a see through shirt! It’s distracting.
I felt the same as you - KS and MR acting like they had been caught cheating - what they do is not anyone’s business - especially HR’s. If that witch pushed me like that I’d have had to say something. And why is it with HR, KS can’t speak up for MR. Why didn’t he tell HR to stop pushing her and that they were fine and to be about her business. Good grief - then is trying to justify her mood that they were on her company time until HS said um, no it was after hours. HS is always looking down in KS for not being assertive yet HS is doing the same thing- he is happy attention is elsewhere so he won’t have to answer to his sister on his own personal life. But the two of them sitting there taking about KS behind his back just ticked me off.
And JH - when did you decide you were in love with MR? When you were having sex with your side piece GF? Come on! This guy is just trying to use an excuse to get her be]ack. He does not love her because you don’t treat the person you love by stalking them, assaulting them, berating them, order them around, and talking down to them.
The nun didn’t want to tell him because he had already told her previously he didn’t want to know where she was - so the nun just kept her mouth shut that MR was his daughter.
I just hope TRHC doesn’t drain us all this weekend last last one did. Looking forward to TK taking care of that…
This drama made me cry last Thursday-Fri then TRHC it was sat/sun - I want this one to end good tomorrow and for TRHC to be a bit happier than last week/weekend. 😂

I think the two men will be caught doing shady stuff and be told to either quit/go to their US branch or face the consequences by law. But that’s just me - usually in these dramas all is forgiven by everyone in the end.
