What I missed was if they said WHEN the river incident occurred? How many years ago was it?
I think you are close about her pregnancy too. If she got pregnant at school, why did she drop out and marry KS? She could have easily gone and got an abortion without anyone knowing except the person she chose to accompany her and continued her studies of the career she supposedly loved so much! Her whole story doesn’t even add up. I believe she lied to KS about the father being dead. And even if he did die, if she loved ballet that much, she would have never allowed herself to be talked out of an abortion to be a mom until KS could afford to send her back to school. She had to know once she had JD her career was over because KS was poor, her family was poor, she had already spent the money her mom had saved for years to send her to school in the first place. Her best bet to make her dream come true was to get an abortion and continue her studies. Instead, she chose differently. Why?

I think it is because the father was a married man.

I’m going to go look at something else so I may be back to edit this post if what I suspect is true.

Edited - ok, didn’t pan out so never mind 😂

She didn’t have enough time to go abroad, fail, and then kill herself. She was going abroad to study ballet more. She had to drop out of her prestigious school her freshman year because she got pregnant so she would have to still go back and finish school before even trying out for a principal ballerina position.

I think it’s darker than that. She kept that picture in case she ever needed it later to do something like this. She is an evil person.

Look, I’m sure the police handle suicides, & when the victim has left behind a will & their wallet to identify…
There would be no unclaimed body because it got washed away by the current. The problem with the whole scenario is the timeline. KS even said to that woman - “t’s been 10 years and you expect me to believe this now?” Then the young woman said her mother felt guilty all these years and couldn’t bring herself to tell Sun Ju’s family. Since the woman didn’t refute the 10 years comment we can assume this all took place around the time Sun Ju left years ago.

But Sun Ju’s reason and only reason for leaving was she told Ks she was sick of everything and wanted to go study abroad to become the ballerina she had dreamed of being. So we are to believe she chooses to go make a name and career for herself but then decides to commit suicide without ever having left Korea? It’s far fetched. Very far fetched. She wasn’t leaving to pursue her dream. She wasn’t leaving to go abroad. She was leaving to go be with another man. That woman has something to hide and that is why she doesn’t want to be found. She. Has. Another. Family.

yeah i think so to. But atleast she want nothing to do with JH after that and will be drawn even closer to KS.…
Nor is he carrying the stigma of being “divorced” either. For now. Poor KS. If he only knew what was coming. I can see all the families finally accepting them together, planning their wedding, then Sun Ju appears.

When she left she was wearing a brown pullover sweater so she must have left when it was cold outside. The bag she grabbed on her way out was black.

That river scene she was wearing a white t-shirt with a striped button down shirt over it. The bag by the shore that the old lady took was a swirled stripe pattern.

I need to go back and look at the bag that KS drops on the floor when he gets back home because I swore it was gray

The whole story was fabricated. I don’t believe any of it is true. That wallet didn’t even have her ID cards? Only pictures? The bag wasn’t the same either. That bag looked fairly new too.

And the river she supposedly drowned in was in Korea. Not abroad. So she obviously never went abroad. Most likely because she had no intention of ever doing so because her new man was in Korea.

Ok I went back and looked and I was wrong. Completely different bag and clothes. She left wearing a brown sweater and carrying a black bag.

I still believe that story was made up though.

Todays episode made me cry hard. So sad.
It was so late I bet KS was thinking JD was in bed. Remember she was in her bedroom when he left.

And does JD have a key to the academy that she can just let herself in late at night? Does HR not lock up??

So I wanted to confirm something and I did. Re-read this from KS’s character bio:

It was not long after that he finds out Sun-joo is pregnant, but the child’s father has passed away.

He was probably TOLD by Sun Ju that the father died. I’m not so sure he is dead.

Yep I believe you are correct. I think when she went to her reunion she met up with an old love. Could even be JD’s father. Personally I still can’t help but wonder if JD’s father is Yu Jin’s dad that “fell in love with another woman and destroyed her family. “ that happened around the same time as Sun Ju getting pregnant and marrying KS. And I bet Sun Ju reconnected with him.

Yep. I think the manhandling scene will be the next morning after she overhears him.

Little Dong is right. In more ways than one. 🤬😡🫤
