i said it before and I’llsay it again. OMG her bloody mother, absolutely drives me up the wall with her antics omg. i get second hand embarrassment from her. even when not around the fl, she keeps shoving s**t down her throat.
bro...that boyfriend. if someone did that to me when i was working, and was actively avoiding them, id get a restraining order. like the general complete lack of respect is...whoa. AND the MOTHER OMG lady, let your girl breath and stop shoving your ideal lifestyle down her bloody throat. she is making me so pissed.
trust you can! i just rewatched it. i saw so much more detail, it was amazing.
omg i totally thought i responded to you ages ago! this may be a little bit late, but when I was watching for the second time, instead of having to focus as much on reading the subtitles an understanding the scenes, I was able to really admire the attention to detail. Like the props, costume, mise-en-scene ect, and especially the acting. Because I already had the general knowledge and idea of how the show would progress, I was able to admire these, as well as not get to caught up in something I am very guilty of, which is trying to predict what happens, over-analyse and have a sense of anxiety of the upcoming plot. This may sound really weird but something I paid a lot of attention to during my second round of watching was the hair ornaments. I thought that they were soooo beautiful and delicate, and noticed how through Ying Luos journey, the evolution of her hair ornaments, although subtle was a key character prop that reflected her development and journey. This is just one of many things that I loved being able to witness upon my second viewing.
Also, although I rewatched it, I still bawled my eyes out the same, if not more, then the first time around.
(Additionally, because I was so fascinated by the hair ornaments and there beauty on all of the ladies I actually did some digging and found out that the hair ornaments were hand crafted by a master craftsman the production specifically hired to make them. Also the production hired a lot of master craftsman’s for many other prop aspects of the sets. )
Shiyi burned everything. It would be nice to see some relic of their past survive in Forever and Ever.
Hey guys, there's a couple of big spoilers in this thread. Would you be able to put the spoiler warning on them? For those who haven't yet started or completed the drama can go into it with wishful thinking (and eventually cry as much as we did).
This was a disappointing drama. I cant believe i watched all of it, all in the hope that it would give me something to uplift the drama. I don’t even know where the characters relationship formed?? Moments where all interrupted, giving no room for relationship growth or character growth. I am so disappointed in the ending episodes, they just made me feel even more regret for investing time. The ML and FL cannot communicate AT ALL, nor do they even attempt to. They do not try to do anything for their marriage, they do not try at all. If I were the FL – even though this is a ‘contract marriage’, I would have left the ML in the dust and found someone who treated me 1000000% times better. I would not stick around for that. The ending disappointed me sooooooooooooooo much, after the whole episode done wrapping the mangled lose ties of the hole filled plot, the ML and FL reconnect and get back together like 20 secs before the show ended.
