Cha Ji Yeon truly was the highlight of this show!

Its been a year since i watched this so i can't say for sure but pretty sure she said thank you or was at least grateful lol?

Hyun Joo, the person Lee Yu-Mi stole the identity of, discovred it and asked her money to keep her mouth shut. But she also told Yu-Mi husband, and him killed her and made it seems as a suicide.

On the other end, Ji Won also discovered Yu-Mi secrets. When Yu-Mi finds out about what her husband did to Hyun Joo, she decided to expose herself and her husband wrongdoing to Ji Won and told her to write an article about it. Yu-Mi told her to realese the article after her husband election.

After the election, her husband take her to the US to bring her to a psychiatric hospital (I belive) while Ji Won tries to get the truth to everyone.

When Yu-Mi finds out that her husband wants her to take a ''break'' she decide to cause a car accident and burn the car with her husband inside.

Then in the last 10mins we see Ji Won, who got promotions and then finally Lee Yu-Mi who's immigrated in Canada in a snowy forest. She owns a shop there and is living alone.

I missed a lot of things but this is basically what's happens in the last 2 episodes.

i would say so, even tho her secret is discovered

not bad, just boring...such a wasted opportunity they could have done so much more

what do you mean by happy ending exaclty? if you mean like she end up with her lover and everything end perfectly then it's impossible since this drama is basically the life of the real Wu Zetian, the only female emperor. this drama isn't fiction, let me make that clear!! romance isn't the central point in this drama. you need to like harem fight cuz that's basically it. most characters end up dying, (well more like all of them kinda?) so yeah not really an happy ending. honestly if you want a fuffly romance then do not watch this drama. you need to like politics, drama and harem fight. hope this'll help you <3

This is basically what happens in the last ep:
in the last episode her husband dies. And let me tell you, their relationship didn't end the best way hahahaha. then she become emperor instead of her son and the show ends on her son forced her to yield the throne.

first drama i completly dropped. i managed to go until ep 18 even tho it was painful. i truly didn't want to drop this but it was just so bad. the acting was so cringe, the plot boring, even tho it had kinda cool visuals.
