the more i watch this, the more i'm conflicted on who i'm supposed to root for..Marissa is somewhat in the wrong here, because technically Ellice isn't a ''traditional'' villain. BUT, she is such a spoiled, selfish, self-centered brat that it's hard to feel bad for her. It's clear that she's never been said no to in life and makes EVERY single situation about her and her feelings. In some way, even if she doesn't deserve everything that is happening to her, you feel like Marissa is really just humbling her a bit. well, i still have a 100 episodes left, so things may change...i'm wondering why this is divided in two seasons, i have 10 episodes left in the first and i really can't see how it'll end!
honestly, even if this has many, many traditional soapy tropes that has been reused a hundred times, the acting and the way the characters are written is really refreshing! i'm entertained!
