they are overdoing it tbh... not everyone who suffered bullying like to see that stuff. My last watch was weak…
i do think that there's a trend on binge creating a popular genre nowadays. It helps bring attention i guess, but it really depends on how the drama ends, most of the time the endings are about 'forgiving them' or a mediocre sentence by laws that don't do much. I feel these dramas are only bringing attention to the fact that bullying occurs, rather than actual methods of stopping the bullying or how it should be handled (except that the victims or their families have to use vigilante methods to gain their justice). I do miss the variation of genres though - a lot of the popular genres seem to deal with dark and serious matters, which again is good but for someone who wants to take a break from how dark and serious our daily lives/news are, i'd like to see more dramas that give variation and not just repeats of other trending plots.
Does the FL remain extremely naive in all of the episodes so far? No serious spoilers please.
sadly yes (writing is pretty wishy washy, like she's smart at times and catches on to ppl and then other times she acts like she has no clue about the treachery and liars)
i remember now (and i checked it to be sure too 🤗) her voice same as Dilraba (in Eternal love of dream and…
Yeah FL was irritating at points but i enjoyed it ^^ I watch pretty much everything based on what i like- mostly asian shows though (i find the shows to be better in Asia and movies better in West for the most part). Turkish dramas are quite long and serious but i watch them from time to time. I started from anime when i was a kid and jdoramas and then ended up watching all other k/c/thai/etc. Bollywood might be a culture difference ( i don't like musicals but bolly is a combo of songs that could be heard like normal songs + dialogue). Lakorns do have reoccurring plots but i think the major tropes may be hard to watch for some viewers so i understand - again i think it's a cultural thing.

I totally understand, i often binge or enjoy the start of a drama but get bored of it later on - i think it maybe b/c the dramas tend to have all the excitement in the first half and then the writing gets dragged or goes back to same old plots. I haven't watched LLTG but dropped NLB at ep 3 ( i think it was too mundane for my liking at the time, like a very light and casual drama). I've been getting into short dramas too! I loved Killer is Also Romantic and it was really good production/writing/acting for a short drama - i've noticed many of them are usually low budget and make no sense but this one was really good. I skimmed through QoA but i didn't find that the development and romance made sense so dropped it near end. Familiar Stranger watched too (ending was meh but it was ok). Have you watched Maid's Revenge?? It's one of my faves (great acting and pacing). Also not a cdrama but if u watch kdramas you should def check out Page Turner (it's a little older but only 3 eps).

Yeah, both leads are great actors but in the end if the writing/development is bad can't do anything about it >< have you seen "Sleepless Princess?" It's so cute! And the leads have amazing chemistry + FL's character's cute and refreshing but not the "I'm cute so ignore my crucial flaws" thank you writer! You should def check it out!
