Arghhhh damn! This movie has hit me hard TT I felt so miserable watching Jaya going through all that ;( I know this is a low budget movie but still they pulled it really well and the dad and the pretty Jaya were amazing
Kinda weird how it's rated 6.4 on Douban and 8.8 here. Should I give this a try?Edit: Now it's 6.0 on Douban
The rating 8.8 here is still not credible as you can see only around 200 users have rated this, and moreover the drama is yet to be finished. So yeah you can give it a try if you feel but just my opinion this is an extremely mediocre drama with fluffy romance, actors are just for visuals, if you feel that this is your cup of tea then go ahead, at the moment I am enjoying the cheesy romance plot but still not expecting anything more than that.

Thank you very much Sir for your kind words :) I am happy to see your recommendation, and now it's in my Plan-To-Watch list. I'll try to watch it soon. As I am studying East Asian Cinema as a part of my coursework and am really passionate about the same, I must say that such recommendations mean a lot to me.

Well right now I am watching Be Melodramatic on Netflix, you may give it a try or if you are not sure about that, then just start watching "Prison Playbook" on Netflix :) I guarantee you won't regret it.
I'm really struggling to get through the first episode of this, I don't mind slow but I need interest. Will it…
Please try to hang in there for 2 episodes, you will probably start feeling the drama. This drama does have an interesting plot but in addition to that it has beautiful cinematography, the pace of the drama with those soothing background music makes it a complete poetic journey. Although during the last episodes, I felt like losing interest in the main couple but the supporting cast gladly filled that void. Overall the drama, in general, was satisfying and personally for me it was something much more than satisfying.
I have been using this since last 2 years and believe me this site is quickest to upload the content than anywhere else be it kissasian or dramacool. PS: The only place to stream in 1080p
My thoughts ? 20 years later people are still defending tarantino' rip off and dare says "reservoir dogs has nothing…
It is claimed that Reservoir Dogs was inspired by City on Fire and I feel the same as not only because of the similarity in plot but there were several lookalike shots. But with Parasite there is no such case, I have seen both the films and only a noob can say that Parasite copied the plot. Arthouse Cinema doesn't work that way, Parasite is not as flat as Minsara Kanna, It has completely different unique cultural elements which is only possible if the movie is based in Korea, even the genrewise I see that both are different then how come someone thinks that Bong Joon Ho has stolen the plot.
If these are the only points you could notice from this whole goddamn Movie then I must agree this is not your cup of tea and with the utmost respect I suggest you to stick with your regular Chinese Dramas :( You could only see the 1st layer of the movie and believe me, there's a lot more to understand. This may help you
Thank you very much for this wonderful article. This could be a good topic for research work in the field of Asian Cinema Studies. I would like to think about picking NK Cinema as a part of my thesis work!!
Thank you very much for this delicious list... I would like to add "Two Lights: Relumino" and "Simpan- by Park Chan Wook" to the list. btw I loved "Summer Bus" a lot.
Hello Dear, I have just gone through your watchlist and believe me you have lots of dramas in your plate. If your watchlist is completely true then I believe you are just in the beginning phase and you still have a long way to go. So fortunate you are that you still have a lot of content to watch, it's just that you are short of some good recommendations. I can recommend you some of the dramas to watch if you want! just ask me here.
Just for the kind information, Arthdal Chronicles season 1 had 18 episodes (according to Netflix) and they have signed a contract with Netflix which says there will be 2 more seasons of 18 episodes both. Still, release dates are not announced.
