The FL is blacklisted??????? why????just read that on her bio, what happened???
I think its pretty much explained in the bio. surrogacy and tax evasion scandals, both of which brings a serious negative image with the public and the govt in china which means end of career.
Genuinely impressed you managed to miss the entire point of the show. Itās a gentle, introspective romance between…
You're right ā it is just a show. So maybe next time donāt call the characters āidiots with mental problemsā just because they didnāt act the way you wanted. You mocked mental health and got called out and now you're surprised people responded? But sure, letās pretend you're the chill one. Drop the clown emoji and try being one in real life, you might finally be entertaining.
Genuinely impressed you managed to miss the entire point of the show. Itās a gentle, introspective romance between two emotionally reserved people, not an episode of The Bachelor, and definitely not for someone with the attention span of a TikTok reel and the emotional depth of a teaspoon. If watching quiet emotional growth and realistic human awkwardness feels ācringeā to you, maybe the genre just isnāt for you ā or feelings in general. Thanks for your brave sacrifice in making it past 10 whole episodes. Stay strong!
Yes He died. You can re watch first 10 min of Ep.3 and find out.
Yeah, I get why you missed that. Itās kinda like the master had some ādestinyā to train Zang Hai, and once that was done, his role was basically over.
i think only kangning gets called her name v confusing
Oh which platform or which version are you watching. I watched it when it was airing and don't remember having any issue with the names. So it could well be the problem with the subtitles.
this is so overrated hello ?? i already had a feeling it was mu jin and yall call this plot twist š 4/10 for…
Yeah, I kinda agree with you. It was pretty obvious from the 1st episode that Moo Jin was the killer, so it didnāt really feel like a twist. Honestly, I was hoping they were just trying to mislead us and that someone else would turn out to be the real killer. Like, if the head of the investigation team had ended up being the killer instead, that would've been a way bigger twist imo.
No. Some people are somewhat interested in the leads, but thereās no sml/sfl level of a romantic interest.
No worries. Just like i said, she cannot be called a sfl since there are other female characters with more screen time and significance than her. She is just a side character imo

No worries! I can explain, but just a heads-upāthere might be some spoilers, so feel free to skip the rest if you want to avoid them.
So, we canāt really call those two characters the SML/SFL because theyāre not that significant in the main coupleās relationship and story. The bond between the ML and FL is super solidāonce theyāre together, nothing really gets in the way.
The guy who's into the FL is just a classmate. He does try to get her attention at first, but heās not a troublemaker. Once he realizes sheās not interested, he backs off pretty quickly.
The girl who likes the ML is a bit more complicated. She does try to stir up some drama, but both the ML and FL handle her really well and shut her down together.
Also, if youāve started watching, youāve probably seen that airport scene and the woman who seems like she might be the MLās girlfriend. Just so you knowāsheās not. Sheās actually his boss and a friend, not a romantic interest.
I guess it depends on what you consider a 'happy' ending. For me, it's a HEāand saying anything more would be…
The FL was finally able to live her own life, leaving all the chaos behind. The ML wrapped up his whole divorce process and is also back on track with his life. The bad guy gets what he deserves.
In the end, ML and FL meet againāthey agree to grab dinner or something (canāt remember the exact detail), but it clearly hints theyāll stay in touch.

and yes professor/niece duo becomes couple. He confesses in Ep 30, but u can tell heās catchinā feels way before, probbly around Ep 25.

For me, all of that adds up to a happy ending.
