I love the point where you said 'there arent really plot holes' actually I detected no plot hole in this drama. The writers were being meticulously smart. Everything was based on simple occurrences that can actually be real. I was overwhelmed as the whole thing made such perfect sense in the end. And having such a cliffhanger ending I really hope there's a season 2, with the same castes too.
Just my opinion, I mean This still got me thinking; What if Cha Dal Geon's nephew had never boarded that plane, then there would be no cause for Dal Geon to take revenge, everyone would have believed it was just a normal plane crash. And the bad guys would have easily had their way.
Actually what am trying to pinpoint is that, things happen. It could happen to anyone. His nephew's death was actually like kind of a sacrifice he had to bear which in turn triggered him to dig up the roots of corruption in his country. This story simply implies that someone ordinary could actually turn out great by making sacrifices and never ending determination to get what you want. If his nephew had never taken that video (with Jerome in it) ..... Evil wins. If there was a better way to explain this drama without words......

The writers of this drama are really smart, I must say. They did a great work of art. Obviously, meticulous researches were carried out during the making of this drama. There's a possibility for a second season, the production company are reported to still be considering the production costs and trying to work-out the actors schedule before any confirmation of a second season is announced

I keep coming back to this page, this drama ended on a frustrating note..... leaving me on the air like WTH??!! I really wish they could release another season.... i miss all the characters already, especially Tagon. He actually became my favourite character. Xabara is my second favorite, although she appeared late in the series but i liked her immediately i saw her. Really wishing for a second season with the same castes..... please TVN, you have to release another season, jebal.... i just cant get over the ending.....
This drama is unique, impeccable and one of a kind. Its one of the best Korean drama I have ever seen. The castes were all at their best, each character was well defined. I think this drama doesn't have a specific main lead, they are all leads and it was beautifully illustrated. Great directing and brilliant production, truly unique. Great suspense, action and supernatural scenes. Beautiful art of work from the writers of this story, I couldn't agree more, it could be crowned as the best drama of the year. For all historical dramas I have watched, this was the best!! Brilliant.... Just brilliant. Looking forward to another season jebal!
There's been a confirmation for a season 2, consisting of only 8 episodes, said to be released next year. Heard from the actor himself ( Lee Seung GI) during an interview.
This drama is superb! Just into five episodes, and am so hooked. Really great production value and cinematography. I love the castes acting and impeccable chemistry. I just still can't get if Tagon is actually good or bad. There's a lot of twists that I still don't understand... Anyways still watching though. Great drama so far... But some parts were really dragged.
