This is the exact reason I prefer viki over netflix hulu etc. I'm very interested in the culture and learning the language so i'm very thankful for the info in the subs. After learning just a little bit of the language you can definitely tell the difference in watered down subs vs viki and other well done fansubs.

Ugly? For real? I think she’s beautiful and I understand everyone has different tastes but ugly isn’t it. Her visuals are great.

Agreed, even if you cut out a lot I don't think you can properly adapt the main story in just 8 episodes. The first seasons story did very well with 8 but that won't cut going into webtoons story. Now if they shoot 2-3 back to back as you suggest I think we can expect great things. Some dramas should only be 8-12 episodes but I don't think this adaption should be one of them going forward.

Kinda wish I read comments and reviews beforehand. 2ML was a dope character and far more interesting than the ML and to see him get friend zoned hard was crap. It wouldn't have been so crappy if the ML had been interesting but even with his struggles he still managed to be boring AF unfortunately. Mind you I usually don't get into the romances but this one left ya feeling salty for one if not the most interesting characters in the drama to lose out to the most boring character/ML smh.
