Reply 1988 is the best example where the girl chose the nice guy who showed her openly that he liked her and pursued her, versus the classic 'lead' guy who liked her but never told her - although I loved Jung Hwan a lot, I was Team Taek always, because tsundere guys are fun only in mangas and it's incredibly difficult to have a relationship with them IRL (experience lol)

I have never gotten SLS, but the drama side of me loves Jung Pal's speech in Reply 88 that you've quoted too - I cried as his heart broke :'(

Article Stages of Dropping Dramas

So true! I tend to not watch ongoing dramas, and almost every K drama I've watched gets so boring in the middle - I feel everything could be shortened to 8-10 episodes without losing any storyline

So I just skip episodes ? I usually watch until 8...then skip right to Ep 13/14 till the end. That's the only reason I could watch SITR hehe
