Seon Seok Koo! They do look alike. He’s also a great actor. I recommend Be melodramatic (he’s only a support role but still a great watch) & Designated Survivor. :)
Honestly the thing that bothered me is not the plot or unbelievably stupid things that happen sometimes but the editing. This is ridiculous. It is really choppy, suddenly I feel like I’m watching a car or shampoo commercial. The music starts and finishes abruptly. It is not done seamlessly. The fight scenes are badly shot. I get what they’re trying to do like actually seeing it from their point of view, but it doesn’t work. It just looks like a cheap video game. Hopefully it’s only been 2 episodes so far and the directing and editing will get better.
The story was already finished & since the writer had no idea what to do she suddenly added a childhood storyline, with the FL being the daughter of the woman who “abandoned” the ML. A dead brother was also suddenly thrown into the mix. It just was honestly so random, like outdated clichés picked out at random from a hat.
It was far from perfect, lots of plot holes, dumb stuff, very basic even, but for some reason it was really really enjoyable. I liked it a lot. It’s better to binge watch it though.
It was OK. I expected more since it was so hyped but it had lots of tropes, unnecessary clichés. I skipped most of it. It was not a bad drama but not a good one either. If you’ve watched a lot of dramas this one will be nothing new. I just feel like there are much better ones out there.
This is a good drama. I liked it overall. The main couple is cute.
The 2nd lead Jiang Xue was so annoying. She was horrible from the beginning, very cliché, got away with everything she’s done, is suddenly good for no reason or logics.
I liked the brother being friends with the alien, But then he suddenly falls for her... It felt like the writer just didn’t know what to do to fill in her ep count.
Ending: I wish we got more about after the reunion.
