No one is a villain yet everyone is a villain. Power and position (plus its maintenance) comes with it's own perks. More than how to be a good guy FX should be concerned about how not to be a villian. There are Villains everywhere... may be one even in the mirror.🤗
Oh No! Epi 6 was so lit. Now that FX has returned alive officially ( loose ends from previous season neatly tied) and the stage set for upcoming rivalries/ plots.... this is the beginning. I can't stop smiling :)

I think they might have really done that. And thats y it turned out this way. So the thing is in the first season as we know...in the story everyone except FX is grounded in the reality of their world. Only FX's 'emotional' and 'casual' (to reapeat their words). Everyone played their role seriously. This reacted with FX's role and made it interesting and contributed to the comedy elements too. Even when they joked and played along with FX, they were restrained. Now it feels like everyone s become less restrained and more casual. Like they have watched the forst seoson and absorbed the overall aura of the drama as a whole. I actually have come to appreciate all the characters more because of this. They are wht set FX apart. Looking forward to how it all plays out in the end.

Yan Ruohai . He was pretty serious last season right? Doesn’t he have an arc of his own now ? Feels like playing a second fiddle to CPP. Idk. I have only watched 4 episodes. Both FX and 2nd prince ... their plots are much more advanced than this.. may be this is just a meet and greet type of game btn them. But thinking how serious 2nd prince was regarding his offer at the end of the last season and now how he is very willing to give it up. May be its because it is the capital and he has restrictions. May be he is just setting up the game. And FX might have already been anticipating all these. I think i will just wait until this season finishes

Like how? Care to explain? I felt something was off too. Like everyone's trying to catch on to the Fan Xian aura. The light casual way.. The first prince stood out for me. He felt different from the first prince in season 1. Maybe everyone is trying to play it light and the tension and seriousness will show up in due time. Or may be its because i continued to watch it directly after rewatching the first season. I still expect people to remain same. Almosr half an year has passed right? .I still think its a bit early to judge. Have to wait till it finish airing...
