I saw my first drama more than 4 years ago and it was "Attention Please" (my cousin introduced me to it). Not at all the best I've seen, but at that time, it seemed cool enough to make me now addicted to Japanese and Korean dramas.
Seriously.. best drama ever! Starting from episode 1 to 16, it was just amazing. I never got attached to a drama that much and from its very first episode. Its waaay good than I thought, its a masterpiece people!
I was ready to accept any kind of ending given that it was clear.. but what I saw was a 180 degree unexpected unsatisfying unclear and so sudden ending! Seriously, what was the writer thinking? why does it have to be so shocking, in a bad way, like that! I'm so disappointed!
Putting the ending aside, the drama is very good although I hated the acting of the female lead! For some reason, I was never on her side. I couldn't understand her as much as I understood the lead men. Am I the only one who felt that?
I can't resist falling in love with this movie again! This is my second time seeing it and it brought up all my emotions as if it was the first time. MASTERPIECE no wonder!
Whenever I want to define a "really good drama", I always think of an unforgettable experience that the drama puts the viewers in while ensuring that they are living every bit of seconds with the characters. It is when you find yourself laughing when a smile is drawn on face of a character, and crying when a tear is dropped from an eye of a character. and to me a " really good drama" is not only about the satisfaction that you feel after finishing the drama, but its about the kind of thoughts that pop into your mind when you think of it after a loong time of seeing it. when you find yourself saying "I really want to see it again".. and you find yourself traveling between the ost and bits of clips of it to retrieve the amazing memories that you had while watching it. THIS what a "really good drama" is all about.. and THIS WHAT ILJIMAE HAD DONE TO ME!!
If this drama ended differently I would say "meh.. unrealistic".. but with this ending, and with all the emotions that I've experienced through every single bit of this drama, I'm really speechless. I cant have any comment other than "a masterpiece".
10/10 Movie..
