Tbh I wish to see him in a psychopath role but then again idk how they would lead the series if he really is the psychopath so the idea of him as an anti-hero is definitely interesting :)

Yes, they are definitely connected some how, especially when JBR recognised YH when he told him about how his friend was the one who saved YH when he was younger and telling him to save him.
Every time they interact they both stare like they know each other but then act like they don't lol

After watching the recent episodes, I have ANOTHER theory ( I'm actually getting fed up of my own theories at this rate but honestly it's fun but hella annoying lmao )
The Head hunter's wife saw Ba Reum and Bong Yi in the hospital ward and started gagging. You'd think that cause Yo Han stared in on an injured Bong Yi, that his mum gagged at knowing that Yo Han did the damage but I think it's cause JBR is her real son, especially since when they both looked at each other she acted very strange. JBR could of lost his memory of her (idk how but just an assumption) and since YH was beating his head in at the end, when he woke up it kind of awakened his psychopathic side and also maybe his memories?
But also YH and JBR must of had something going on because when they both were dying next to each other, they were just staring but I think some kind of communication could be going on (accomplice?). Especially since YH was stalking JBR, they are definitely affiliated somewhere.

Honestly I'm still beyond confusion but the ending did make my heart go because of the fact JBR could be a psychopath even if he did kill the bird which I'm still upset about :(

With the killings all relating to fairy tales and stories I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case, I really like this comparison.

Exactly, if you think about it JBR hasn't had a lot of screen time despite being the mc. We all know KMC background (like what happened to his family, how he still visits HH and also during his high school days how he met HH wife and son to get money for his brother's surgery) yet with JBR we "supposedly" know his parents but that is it. He's a literal mystery and nobody in the investigation or the village, like the grandma or Bong Yi, they've never questioned about his parents or past, all they know is that he lives alone because both his parents died.
This just adds on to how suspicious he is.

Yes exactly what I thought, and if you think about it he told KMC about the different finger and kind of led him to the church where they discovered the clothes and finger. I think he pretends to act innocent but secretly messes with the investigation and also KMC seems pretty alright with providing JBR with the investigation information despite them only recently meeting.
It's a hard storyline to figure out but we are only 4 episodes in lol

Same, all these theories everyone is coming up with make so much sense that I feel like whatever comes up as the truth is just going to be just as surprising and shocking lol, I really enjoy series like this where you think you know what is going on and then they throw something confusing at you and you just second guess everything you thought was right.

ANOTHER THEORY:
JBR got the messages from the grandma saying she knew who the killer was and so JBR killed her to shut her up ( because from what I've read, people are saying the one who killed the grandma wasn't Yo Han because of his different outfit ) and so JBR staged the chase between him and Yo Han and purposely got hit by a car to secure an alibi and also to make sure he isn't suspected.

ALSO, people are saying he has DID and that his other personality is left handed, I really do like that idea as well.

it didn't show if BR did tell moo chi about the messages, he just said he got several missed calls from the grandma and got told to meet him in front of the store? I think so anyway.

There are so many theories that make sense that I've literally given up and decided to wait till it's revealed because whatever it is going to be, it's going to surprise me either way XD

Adding onto your idea about BR, maybe BR killed the grandma and then Yo Han covered it up so BR purposely got hit by the car and staged the chase so then nobody would suspect him? just a thought.
But I love the idea about DID, I think that would make the show much more interesting if BR does have that.

My theory is that JBR is the Jae Hoon kid who killed the family at the start and out of guilt he ran away and the brother who was the son to the step father is yo han and so yo han is pretending to be the head hunters son in JBR's place but in reality is covering up for JBR and protecting him because he is still scared of him? idk there is a lot of missing pieces to the story.
OR
JBR is staging the kidnapping so he could catch the real killer?
OR
Similar to theory 1 with the fact that Yo Han and JBR are working together because they met when they were younger, like Yo Han was the one that JBR and Kook saved which lead to their partnership?

I'M BEYOND CONFUSION AT THIS RATE, MY BRAIN IS ACTUALLY HAVING A SPASM FROM ALL MY THINKING AND DIFFERENT THEORIES. This is why I wished they released all 20 episodes at once :(
