Agree. That dress made her look 55! Maybe without the sleeves it would have looked somewhat modern contemporary but that dress did nothing for for.

I also skipped the storylines I wasn’t interested in. Just too much going on. Main couple were fun to watch until the to & fro carried on for too long. Eventually I was stop begging lady and walk away . Let him end up with whomever … 🤪

Goodness me .. the amount of crying scenes these poor actors had to get through. Especially those two little boys, 90% of their lines delivered while crying.

Using the ffwd button a lot to get through the episodes in the shortest time possible. Pity, this could have been shortened .. a lot of repetitive scenes, unnecessary drama & misunderstandings… circling and circling.

Struggling to get into this and getting involved with the characters.
It all seems abit over the top for me, everything just seems too much, even the makeup … I am only 5 episodes in, maybe I should give it another 2 episodes.

ML is the only one who brings some chill and calm .. and quiet pensiveness

True - in what world did that make sense ?? Storyline, mood, genre did not call for that at all!

So good that I want to watch it again but don’t want to put my heart through that again. What a conundrum.

It’s an ego and status thing I think… ito the series... For the ‘boss’ to be seen as having his subordinate’s scraps, will make him a laughing stock. And how is viewed by the other elite mafia bosses. That’s my interpretation anyway .. but yes, rather silly story arc in 2023.
