They are close. No grandma keeping grandkids in line. A little romance in the latter. Ancient into modern kindly (lovingly) looked at by heir as a " little antique." The other she helps people cossover and battles demons. Even though she battles demons it's not as violent like many of these dramas.

There's others, I just haven't found them. Also the immortal, yun miao, spirit farer, ferryman are pretty good. There are the ones where a noble woman/general/concubine wake up in the modern era, in the body of a 18-20 year old daughter who was lost by wealthy family and returns to family who now have an adopted daughter. Everyone in the family hates her for being a "country bumpkin". She outshines the adopted daughter making the grandfather happy and rises within the company and falls in love with an heir.

I love these types of drama, among other. I also love the ones where the great grandmother ends up in the future dealing with the unruly descendants. Some of these may not have the most seasoned actors, but they are fun. A break from all the dramas with so much sadomasichism stuff.
