I just finished this drama and I have mixed feelings about it. I loved the story, the cast and the ost, but the way the FL character was built, was horrible. And the script was lacking a lot. I liked the first 20 episodes and also ep 37-49, but I disliked ep 21-37.

I agree. I loved the first 20 episodes, but now, at ep 26, I felt the impulse to drop it. I didn't do it, because of the cast and because I can't tell I dislike the drama. Plus, I adore Xiao Zhan

After TU, for me was the first long drama which I could watch until the end. And it was worth it. There are some super interesting characters in the drama and a beautiful ost. It has flaws but it's a good show.

It's ok if you don't like it, because people have different tastes, but it't too much to tell that the rating is high because of the ML's popularity. Based on 11 episodes you can't tell such a thing, you have no idea about the amazing story of this drama. In addition to the beautiful cast, The untamed have a very interesting plot and a wonderful ost. I never seen such an addictive drama, I swear. If you will watch until the end, you will understand that the beauty of ML have nothing to do with the ratings, or it is just a little piece of it. The story is simply fantastic, if you give it time to reveal. It's a story about love, brotherly love, friendship and sacrifice, which made me cry like a baby (and I don't cry so easy). I read the book and I like it very much, but in my heart, the drama is better (and this was never happened to me before). Another thing that it can make you think, is the fact that the ML (both of them) are acting also in other dramas, that don't have the same rating.

This is the most "no romance" romantic drama I ever seen!

I dropped Ashes of love, but I really liked Love and redemption. I find it more similar to The Untamed, which is my all time favourite drama. I think you should give it a try.

I watched it already and it is definitely not better then TU. I like korean dramas too, but this is not fair.

You said the comedy isn't for Jung Il Woo and I not agree with this. You must see him in "High-end crush". I really laughed watching that drama and I didn't find a comedy to make me laugh for a long long time.

I like this drama very much ! And I am sad because it has a low rating.
