no one cares about MDL ratings. The creators for sure don't. This drama is doing great on platforms where it actually matters. Not sure if they will make a 2nd season or not.

Absolutely NO. "Shades" just screams of toxicity. while this drama had some questionable characters it wasn't to the point that it felt toxic. No GL is similar to this..
Maybe "Harmony secret" will have similar concept of two rivals falling in love but it's still very different.

well both the skinship scenes weren't even real, both were imaginations... idk why people are getting so worked up over it...

if you are looking forward to lesbian romance, then that is not here. It's just implied that they both have feelings for each other. no confession or anything.

Rated 8.5 on douban which is actually really high rating on douban, rated 8.3 on imdb and rated 9.7 on viki.
The rating system on this site has either gone bonkers (because we have a lot of overrated dramas on MDL and this gets a 7.8 that's BS and i think it will go lower again.) or it's just that the taste of users on this site is just that bad.... it's sad either way.
i can never understand why people complain about logic in a kdrama.... seriously 99% kdramas are illogical but we just go along with it as long as it matches the vibe of the drama and the acting of the cast.... it's like tom and jerry - illogical but we still like it because its comedy.. same here but we still like it because it's thrill, mystery and romance (only some people can understand the romance tho)..

Edit 1 : After watching ep1 i can see why this is liked by so many people.. while they might be student and teacher, mentally they act like the same age which is appealing.. and obviously i m completing this now. BTW he is definitely a RED ALERT, young girls beware of men like that.... But some RED ALERTS are really charming af i can understand that..
Edit 2 : and i completed it. A really good drama indeed. they really are made for each other. their age gap isn't known.. as long as their age gap isn't more than 4-5 years i am fine with this. although it's still rather controversial.

i would like it if you didn't disgrace indians just because of some dumbasses. every country has a their fair share of morons. india has a lot compared to others because population is too much.

this was unexpectedly so good. that rating doesn't do justice to the drama.... i might be a little biased because i love body swap romance dramas, especially when they are done so well. Also FL's acting was really good compared to her previous dramas. (it's not that she did bad previously, it's just that she for sure acted better than her previous roles.)
To anyone who like the cast or the synopsis try this for sure. i had a sleepless night becoz of this.

Well in animation I can watch/read these things because that doesn't feel real. But drama includes real people and it's hard for me to like it when a single person is having crush on a lot of person whether it's because of their looks or personality. I get weirded out.
It's not that I dislike reverse harem dramas, there are some dramas which are tagged as reverse harem but I still loved them because FL wasn't behaving like an immature/delulu kid who gets fascinated by anyone she finds handsome...

So there are some comments saying nothing is proven yet...
I would like to say that nothing will prove in future as well. It's the cruel truth.
There are already a lot of hints as to what's the truth.. And to the people who says it was a mutual relationship. She was ok with him being her boyfriend. She was 15, 15year olds don't have enough experience in life to make such a decision and that's why parents tell them what to do. So I still think it was kind of f#cked up of him to be ok with their relationship consensual or not... After all he himself said he would like to be with a 21 year old when he turns 41... If he said 23+ I wouldn't make a big deal out of it but 21 is a young age. I think most 21 year olds also don't have enough experience in life.. At least when I was 21 I did not.
And let's just assume for a second that they were both happy with their relationship, then why is she dead? At least take care of her...

Edit: There are a lot of young people (especially girls) who romanticize older good looking man, that much is fine until you actually end up in a relationship with some older guy. 20 or younger people don't end up in a relationship with a older guy who is 5 or more than 5 years old than you. The world is not a good place. Don't judge people on looks or their online image..
