yeah same as usual.. the most we ever really get is the vague implication that the second lead is in it alone with the role of forever-doomed-to-be-unrequited feels -_-" instead they play it off as if they're just falling for their crush's crush lol which is one of the ~weirdest things tho I do think that even happens in real life- both in a being confused sense & also as some way to stay involved so the other two don't leave the person behind.. but in fiction, it can go either way, depending on circumstances.. like R97 made it out to be just a wrong assumption by the main- the 2nd was already sure of his feelings & for whom.. but that's the only fully canon one I've seen & it was one of the doomed, sigh.. more vague tho was High School Love On, which had a bunch of paranormal issues, but could've gone true OT3 ♡ except nope, swerved instead for cliches.. https://youtu.be/PTKKVgSaWNk

Hello potential new viewer! If you scroll down a bit to my previous cmts, I squee a lot about this adorkable, trio-shippy #OT3, plus share vid recs! Yes, the ending is quite happy, which makes up for the dark backstory. The three were itty-bitty soulmates, tragically separated as kids, & 20yrs later, of all things, *cake* brings them back together! xD

That's not her "trying to act", it's just her following a ~script which has her char being loud- blame the writers of those scenes. She actually has one of the most *calming* voices I've ever heard, when the writing allows her to be soft & gentle, quiet, or melancholy, etc. The writers just need to stop with the "screaming".. x.x

Perhaps I could have phrased it better, I like ~good tropes of course, but I just meant it's ironic how even when ~these particular & often elaborate "switcharoo" type situations are established, in most any media regardless of countries, they rarely deviate from still ending up het, ie the gay stuff is just one big joke. Idk, I'm just forever craving smth *middle-ground*, ie that is NEITHER overly campy OR super soapy (& typically X-rated, oy) with potential LGBT chars.. so when I saw the trailer for this & the one queer role is an uber flamboyant cliche type gay?? being *literally* replaced for a het story.. lol, ouch. Still, slow progress better than none! Maybe in another 5-10yrs (15-20?) we'll get a f/f remake of She's the Man ;P
