Just finished this beautiful drama. The 1st couple of episodes were so good, that i watched 10..12 episodes in single sitting. It got a lil boring for me when FL went to Luoyang and her hometown. Bit it wasnt too bad. The strategic planning and scheming was brilliantly written. I loved how brilliant the leads were, decoding the opponent's plans at each step and plotting the right strategies. Its an intriguing tale. I was deeply saddened when Tong, her maid servant sacrificed her life and when the FL proved the innocence of her father infront of the emperor. I absolutely loved the ending , specialy that 5 min extra , a treat for the viewers. I dont get ot though why they had to kill off wenji and the other personal guard of duke su. That was totally not needed. They were fantastic throughout the series, there wasn't a need to kill them off in the last 15 minutes of the show. I'm not a fan of period dramas, but this one is indeed good (except that it was too long, but then again, the story was too complex as well.)
Could anyone please tell me, Is this drama purely romance genre or there is significant part of hospital setting…
I'm on e12 right now. There aren't Surgeries happening, unlike dr romantic 3. Since both of them are going through a break in their careers, its pretty chill.

I mean , if someone's talking and smiling doent really prove anything, like an hour or two ago, the guy just told her that his love never changed. I wont really say that fl's the one at fault completely. Especially after watching today's episode. But yeah, i see where you're coming from.

Agree. Look at the characters in The Hospital Playlist, they're doctors & friends since med school, even then they behaved like kids with each other & did all sorts of shenanigans.
This episode had such touching moments! 🌿 Slice-of-life truly shines in this drama, and it's why it's so satisfying…
Rightly said . What i feel makes this drama special is its unique plot . Its so diferent than the usual dramas these days. I'm not really criticizing any drama , but there are dramas where the parents scenes are not fun ... fo example Queen of tears , i absolutely loved the drama, its one of my favorites, but then i skipped most of the village scenes( from ML's village ) But this drama is so different. Every character has a story to present , Na yun (the subordinate at Atleir), Dong jin, all of them . Typically in a drama with such a big cast, you dont expectsuch small characters contributing a lot to the plate, and this drama has absolutely turned the tables. Every character has something special and the best part is Zero toxicity. I'm loving it. It hasnt ended yet , still i know its a 10 on 10 for me
