Ingredients is such a cute short series! It’s basically an ad, but the leads do have great chemistry! It’s so simple and enjoyable.

Oh I know it’s just an opinion, I didn’t want to come across like that. I just found some criticism a bit harsh and wanted to share my point of view. Because if it wasn’t clear already I really like Duen and Bohn ahah ;D I like to discuss the stuff that I like a lot and sometimes I get very passionate about it lol

OMG I already liked the song, but I didn’t know and didn’t expect the lyrics to be SO beautiful!!! I’m even more in love with this series if that’s even possible. I see the connection between the lyrics and the ending, it’s so precious and heartwarming, I think I might tear up! Really!! The actors and also everyone involved in the production of the series have done such a great job. I’m sure the last two episodes won’t disappoint whatever happens.

Same. Nothing wrong with those who kiss almost immediately, but Duen is just not like that and I don’t know why some people can’t accept it. He’s not ready, what’s so wrong with it? There is no disgust in his reactions, he just panics when Bohn gets close to him and I think it’s adorable. If Bohn is willing to wait I don’t see the problem. We can celebrate two guys showing love for each other through kisses and physical contact, but we can’t when they show the importance of respecting each other boundaries?
I remember when Duen went to sleep over at Bohn’s apartment and he told him that he agreed to sleep there, but he didn’t have to agree with everything. He’s meeting Bohn half way all the time, but he doesn’t want to push himself beyond what he’s comfortable with and Bohn respects that. That is a very nice message in my opinion and I don’t know how people are missing it. He’s so naive that often he doesn’t even notice when Bohn wants to initiate physical contact, on the bus for example when Bohn tried to hold his hand, Duen didn’t even realize, and he ended up resting it on Duen’s thigh and he didn’t protest at all. He was so upset when his friends didn’t accept him dating Bohn right away and he’s the same guy who chose, bought and brought him a flower every morning for a month! And the last one was a plant that he could keep forever. That was beyond adorable. I totally agree with you, this series is really so much more than you can see on the surface.

Let’s not forget that Bohn and Duen, as of episode 12, have known each other for ONE month. That’s not a very long time. Duen is already doing a lot compared to his level of experience in dating and relationships (which is zero). Obviously it depends on the person. For some people a month could be enough. But knowing Duen, it’s clear he needs more time. This adorable guy is so misunderstood.

Bohn is no mice though ;) I wouldn’t say Duen is playing with his feelings, he’s totally head over heels for him, he’s worried Bohn doesn’t reciprocate. They totally love each other. The teasing is cute and they both do it :3 it’s just rom-com.
I see your point though, but I don’t think it applies to BohnDuen.

Come on, it’s clear Duen is not that serious and he’s enjoying giving Bohn a hard time because he’s aware of his reputation as a playboy. He just wants to make sure Bohn has real feelings for him.

There are various over the top moments like the lizard scene throughout the series. Personally, I find them really funny and they make me laugh because of how ridiculous some of them are. The tone of the series is very lighthearted, so those moments are not meant to be taken too seriously. Overall, it’s a good series with great characters and acting. Totally worth watching. I was hooked since the first episode. Maybe it’s just my personal taste that made me like it immediately.
I guess, just don’t judge a book by its cover... or name! XD
